Sitting at work and my lovely Bride calls and informed me " We just bought a new RV" When I finally got myself back up into the chair I was informed she had just put a down payment on a Montana 5th wheel. Seems that she found one in Vermont for a whole lot less than what we saw it for here in FL. So my first response was "I'm gonna need a bigger truck". :thumbsup2 It worked!!! Now driving a 2010 3500 Dodge 4x4 diesel dually. New RV is a Montana 3750FL with all the goodies. Life is good.....and expensive. Now I just need to retire and start lobbying Disney to put pull thrus at the Fort.

Congratulations on the new Fiver and the new truck! :thumbsup2

When are you going to Vermont to pick it up?

Congratulations and enjoy!:wizard:

Congrats on the new truck and I hope you wanted the 5er.

WOW!!! That's one heck of a nice wife. Sure hope MY hubby doesn't read this & expect anything comparible! lol

Congrats on you new toys, sounds like a nice set up have a safe trip on your journey to pick up the camper, should be broken in ( road wise) by the time you get her home.

Congratulations!

If ya'll don't ever hear from me again, you'll know I tried this stunt on my husband and instead of a happy ending like this, I'll be dead.:rotfl2:

I am so happy for you!!! Although it may be expensive to get the 5er home, it sounds like you and your wife got a good deal

Best of luck with your new set up

Dude, :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This sounds like one of the "good" flash backs from a episode of "LOST",,
you do realize that any minute now your gonna wake up and be back on that dam* island.

We should be going up to get the new one in June. Trading in a 29 ft Artic Fox. Should be a nice trip and well worth the savings we are getting on the Montana. I get the hitch in the new truck tomorrow, going with a signature series Reece. And Yep my wife is a keeper! Its been a great 23 yrs so far.

I'm curious, and hope you don't mind the question...DH and I are seriously considering thes Montana floorplan...was it Pete's RV in Vermont? And would you consider PM'ing me their offer? Compared to the prices in Florida? TIA!

Karen
