I was just trying to get thru to CRO and they are busy with I guess cancellations, since they are telling you that you can cancel for this weekend and get your money back.

With the hurricane coming this weekend, don't even count on WDW DINE being open. No offical announcement has been made yet but the hurricane is suppose to hit late Saturday and through Sunday.

I just called Disney Dining and the recorded message ask that if you were making reservations for after 9/29 that you call back later.

Yes, I just called and heard that msg. asking us to call back for PS after 9/29, too....so here is my question! I certainly don't want to seem like an insensitive heel, but REALLY want to make sure the Xmas eve and Xmas PS are made (given that Disney Dining is even open to take ressies)

Yes, I'm going to call for my Christmas plans... it is the only request my DD17 made... that we have Christmas dinner (or lunch).

By the way, if you hold on after that initial "we're busy, please call back message" the regular message comes on and you can make reservations... I did today for Prime Time (which my mom wanted, the night before she and my dad leave). Really was no wait to speak of after the punch this, enter that stuff.

I tried calling twice today (in between errands) and was on hold for 20 minutes each time. There was no recording asking you to call back though, hmmm! Anyway, I got impatient and had things to do. We are DVC members and called MS and they made my last PS arrangement in about 2 minutes. Another perk for DVC members!

I called last night to make my sleigh ride reservations and a few PS's. I asked the CM specifically about calling or not for Christmas Day PS. She said to absolutely still call. I just need to decide where to eat Christmas day. Where is everyone else eating? We are probably going with Liberty Tree. Are there characters there for lunch?

I just called for CRT dinner on 12/24. Got right through. The CM was laughing because I told him I was practicing for later in the week for the CRT breakfast. The message about calling back if you were making reservations after 9/29 was on there. After that the regular message was on and I got right through. I feel bad about calling but I didn't want to miss out on my Christmas Eve PS's. The CM totally understood. Good Luck All.

I got thru this morning too but not for dining; I made a Wishes fireworks ps for Christmas eve. The CM I had was wonderful and she said definitely call back tomorrow morning for my Christmas PS request (brunch at Chef Mickey's for us).

I also called this am, I called the wdw-play for a sleigh ride. When I mentioned calling back tomorrow she said we will be closed tomorrow because the Kansas City Call center will be open! We will be making PS for Chef Mickeys for 11ish and Park Faire For 630 ish.

I made reservations this morning for the Garden Grill for lunch and the Biergarten for dinner on Christmas Eve. This came after two dropped calls, one for 21 minutes and one for 85 minutes. The wait, although annoying, was no problem for me because I was using my cellphone with earbud and kept on working while on hold. The dropped calls ticked me off though.

I woke up bright and early (3:55 a.m. my time) and started calling for CRT Breakfast for 12/24. I got right through. The CM told me I was her first call. I got 8:30 a.m. for 4. I mentioned that I was a little worried that they'd be closed and that I must have gotten lucky because people weren't calling. She told me that in just the couple of minutes that I was giving her my details that CRT for 12/24 was full. So I guess it didn't really stop people from calling. I already had my candlelight Processional tickets with Le Cellier for Xmas eve taken care of. Now I just need to think where I want to eat dinner for Xmas before La Nouba.

We are at Rose and Crown, and only 10 minutes later than we had originally hoped for! While I had CM Calandra on the phone I asked about tomorrow's calls. I wondered if they were even going to be there to field the calls and she told me that they are not going home tonight! She said that they are aware that we all need to make our holiday PS, so they will ride out the storm and be there for us to talk to tomorrow, bright and early.

I just made an O'Hana's ressie for Christmas Eve. There is a 48 hour cancelation policy for the holidays, and you need to hold it with a CC. The VERY nice CM gave me the following list as to where there are special Holiday Buffet offerings for Christmas:
Park Fare-Dinner
Cape May-2pm on
Chef Mickey-Brunch
Crystal Palace 11:30 on
Trails End
Yacht Club galley-Buffet
all three meals

She said to call tommorrow.

I need to also make Christmas Day PS for dinner before seeing LaNouba. Maybe we'll see you there. We've never seen it before. Looking forward to it. Not sure yet where we'll attempt to get a X-mas Day PS for. Tough decision. Ideas?
