So, tell me...who here lives in Las Vegas?

And do you love it or hate it?

This is my #1 place where I want to move in the next 3 years...I go quite often. Are the jobs pretty decent? Is it TOO expensive to live there? What can you tell me about it?

I have friends that have moved there.

They said jobs were easy to find, but the pay rates were low.

Housing is actually a problem due to growth in the area. They can't build houses fast enough.

I lived there for 20 years and escaped...er I mean moved away six years ago.

It's all I ever knew since I lived there from 5 to 25. Now that I live in a different place I see the problems that Vegas has. I wouldn't move back.

Weather - great

Just not a place to raise a family. I recently visited my family (they still live there) and was so glad that I no longer have to drive past XXX billboards on my way to work each day. Silly things like that I can easily do without.
