So, tell me...do you have any freaky features?

excuse my ignorance but... 3 nipples or 3 b**bs?

My left eye is higher than my right...not much, but it IS definitely noticeable if you look me straight on. So is my mom's.

My sister says it's a common characteristic of preemies. I was born 7 weeks early, and mom was born (about) 11 weeks early - in 1944, which must have been quite amazing back then.

Back when I was 6 or 7, I was attacked by my babysitter's German shepard. He bit off my entire left earlobe. Was sent down to Children's Hospital where plastic surgeons re-attached it and bundled my head up like a mummy. I remember it was Father's Day weekend and it was hotter than a wet hen outside. They gave the lobe a week or 2 to "take". It didn't and I had to go back in for more surgery to take it off and clean the area. They told me I could have a skin graft in my teens and they would reconstruct the lobe. Never had it done. Even with really short hair nobody noticed. My kids think it's weird, but that's about it. Other than that...I am perfectly normal!!!

My second cousin's baby was born with all her organs completely reversed. Her heart is on the right, appendix on the left, etc. There is a name for it, but I forgot what it is.

My friend's baby boy was born with the exact same thing! They didn't think he would live - he is 4 now!!!! How odd!

My little toes are very small so you can not see any nail on them. Not sure how wierd that is though.

I have points on both my ears, my mother always said I had pixie ears when I was a child. I know no one ever teased me about it, and my son did not get them. None of my sisters have them either. I guess I am just lucky.

I have weird toes. They're not long and lanky like most. They're kind of short and stubby. I wonder if I could get toe augmentation.:p

2. I have an "overactive" hair follicle or somethin' right above the elbow on my left arm. I have a single hair there that grows FAST and LONG. Every so often when I think of it, I yank it out. It just grows back again. This thread reminded me of it, so I checked. Sure enough, it's about an inch+ long again. Time to yank. :p

My mom and I have that too. Mine is one my right arm, but not sure which arm hers is on. It's annoying when you have one hair that gets superlong...

Ooops!!!! This is Flyfly_Eclipse posting under her mom's screenname again (lol look at the tag...this happens quite often!)

My dad's left foot is a whole shoe size shorter than his right foot.

Me, I am just double jointed in my thumbs. I can also grab stuff with my toes but I have short stubby toes. My brother in law calls them Fred Flintstone toes. He also teases me that I am going to tip over because I am 5'9" and can wear a size 6 in girls shoes.

I have a couple of strange birthmarks. One is just a white patch on the small of my back. It never tans - the darker I get the more noticeable it is. I have also have a "strawberry" type birthmark. Let's just say that the only people who have ever seen it are my parents, my DH, & my OB/GYN

I have enormous hands :) I can palm a basketball!! Ooh!

My sister is double jointed and can make her arms do nasty turns and such :P

They aren't really features but I have extra parts and pieces in me. When I had my wisdom teeth were removed, they found 5 wisdom teeth instead of 4, I have three uterers (tube from kidney to bladder) instead of 2, and I have a bicornate uterus. That last one means that my utereus is kinda split in two rather than one large one. Thankfully, I'm completely normal on the outside. :p

The joke in my family is that if you need an organ then just ask me cuz I might have an extra!

I am double jointed in my arms, and I can turn them around almost backwards! :earseek:

I have freaky pinkie toes. They both dont fall "flush" with my other toes, they "curl" in. So, due to this, I hardly see my pinkie toenai (usually curled in so badly). If I try to put them flush with the other toes a space towards my foot appears.

The skin/bones/cartilage of my ring toe (4th toe) has a caved in spot where the pinky toe lies.

I'm fairly certain this happened when I was a baby, and it was never corrected.

I have that too. I have to pull my pinky toe out in order to see it.
My fingers are double jointed...so I can make them pop down instead of up (like making a fist). Creeps my husband out.

Not really a freaky thing...but neither of my big toes has a toe nail due to childhood infections. So they look really strange!

I have a white spot in the middle of one of my front teeth, like a calcium deposit. It grew in there like that when I was 6.

I can not only pick up things with my toes, but I'm really good at pinching with them, too! Creeps my husband out. Gotta love that.

Nothing freaky about me. One of my good friends, though, can make her whole eye 'bounce' back and forth. Well, it isn't the whole eye it's just the colored part(iris?) and pupil. They move VERY fast so all you see is like this brown blur moving back and forth on her eye. She said she used to have to concentrate to do it, but now, if she has been reading for a long time, if she tries to focus, her eyes will naturally do this!

It freaks EVERYONE out! She convinced her little brother she was an alien and then did her eye thing, and he was like scared of her for MONTHES! It was quite funny, but also mean!

My dd has one really pointed ear! It's very cute. I love to put an elf hat on her at Christmas time! :teeth: I'm missing some discs in my back. My last 4 vertebrae (including my tailbone) are fused together. Found that out after a car accident when I was 20. So I should be taller! LOL!

I have that, too.

Interesting thread. I have something called Osgood-Schlatter Disease. Osgood-Schlatter disease is a condition that is an overuse injury of the knee.

Just below my left knee is a lump the size of a grape. This problem most commonly happens during pre-teen to teenage years and I wasn't treated for it while it was going on. The result is the lump which I will always have.

It's somewhat noticeable when I'm sitting but nearly invisible when I'm standing.

Just to add, two of my cats are polydactyl. I read some where that there are more polydactyl cats in the Northeast than in any other part of the USA. The reason, these cats first came into the Boston area in the 1700's with the first settlers. :cat:
