Since we are traveling with extended family my husband and I were thinking about taking 1 night to be grown up. We are laid back- no dancing for us :cool1: but we like to drink some beer and enjoy the environment of bars. I see there is a comedy club- I dont see anywhere saying they serve alcohol or not. Beside that- any suggestions?

We will be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside so it appears we can take a ferry- do they charge to get into Pleasure Island or just the club costs? And how to most people dress there?

Hey!

To answer some of your questions...the ferry ride over to Downtown Disney is great, enjoy it! You can walk around Pleasure Island all night, sit outside and listen to music, people watch, etc and buy drinks, and it is free (except for the costs of the drinks, of course!) Yes, they do serve alcohol, and you can walk around Pleasure Island with your drinks.

There are 2 comedy clubs- Comedy Warehouse (similar to the show Who's Line Is it Anyway?) and the Adventurer's Club. To go to either you have to buy a multi-club ticket, which is $21.95. Most days you can visit the Adventurer's Club for free until 9pm, so that may be a good idea if you're debating wheter or not to buy a club ticket for the night. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are the busiest days by far, with Sunday and Monday being pretty empty.

Hope that helped! Have a fun trip!

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. Sounds like a great night away from the kids! :woohoo:
