So sad...

Sign me up for the ...Just back from our first stay FW, so sad, wish I was going back NOW Club!!!!! :guilty: :scared:

We stayed in a cabin 3/27 - 4/2. We absolutely LOVED it. Just wish we had more time to enjoy FW!!! I did not see one single LGMH while we were there !!! We were at the parks most of the time though - if we would have had more time to spend exploring I am sure we would have seen a few!

I tried to post a picture but I was allowed too...I guess I haven't posted enough. But, we bought a big piece of bright green poster board and I used a dinner plate for the head and two bowls for the ears (well, I traced them on the paper) and then I cut it out. We put one by our site number post and one on the back of our golf cart! It certainly made finding out site a whole lot easier...and that's how we got spotted! It was so neat to find another disser!!!!

You should be able to post a picture, it doesn't matter how many times you've posted, unless that is something new.

The easiest way is just to click the little "Image" icon right above where you type, it's the second from the right, looks like two mountains in a picture. Just paste over the link that happens in the pop up box, and you'll be set.

That, or you can paste it in between these:

Oooh, let me try...I was doing something else...oh shoot...I guess I have to read up on posting pics...another forum I belong to I can do a search on my computer and post from that file...this one I need the URL address...I have my pics on Kodak Easy Share so I'll try and do some more research...oooh, I'm excited to be able to (well almost able to!) post some pictures!!!

Yea, you can only post pictures from the Web here, not from your local computer. So if you can just upload your pictures somewhere on the internet, get the URL to the picture, and you're almost there! lol ;)

Ok, you're putting the wrong link up. Right click on the picture, go to Properties, and copy the URL that is present there, it will work then

Note: Also with Photobucket, if you look under the pictures, they have 3 boxes, called URL Link, HTML Tag, and IMG Code. Just paste the whole entire text that is in the IMG Code box, and it will work perfectly!

Sorry...how'd I do that the last time where the picture was in the post...I feel like such a dope...

Just edit your previous post, you don't have to create a new one.

Just right click on the picture, go to properties, copy the URL. Click on the image icon and paste the URL. Or you can type
. Either one will work.

Hi! I've been following your "tutorial" on how to post a picture...here goes my first try! Here's a pic from last week of my kids on the bunk beds in our cabin!!

(thanks for the picture lesson - I am planning to write a real trip report if I can get this picture thing down!!!! :thumbsup2

It's not working!!!! Or is it??? I can't tell from the preview...???

It didn't work!!! :confused3 Can I copy my pictures from Kodak Gallery? I right clicked, copied and pasted from Properties...and then POOF! Nothing! Can you help?? I really want to write a trip report!

It's there Andrea...just on the smaller side but it's there.

I too used Kodak but I opened up a photobucket account to do the pictures here. I'm not sure if this is the easiest way but what I did was save the pictured from Kodak to my 'puter and then uploaded it to photobucket and then followed the instructions above.

Wow! Talk about feeling like a dope! I am at work and I guess I shouldn't try to do this on my work 'puter....I can't see the picture at all!! I have all my pictures on my home 'puter (and Kodak online) so I guess I should just open a Photobucket account from home. Thanks for your help - look for photos from me soon!!!!! :goodvibes

Make sure you put the
tags around the link, or just paste the link using the "Image" icon above the place where you edit. Make sure you right click on the picture, select properties, and then copy the URL that you see there.

Instead of me posting more info, here is a GREAT guide on how to post a picture on these forums:

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=4886029#post4886029

If you follow along with that, you'll probably get a lot better info on how to post pictures than I could tell you ;)

I still can't get the picture thing going! I put pictures in Photobucket, followed directions and it still won't go! I will keep trying!:surfweb:
