So sad...Vero Beach rehab

I saw pics of the new décor at Vero today. It's nice that they are getting updated (although it seems like they just did the soft goods refurb not that long ago). BUT I am SOOOO sad because it looks like all the beautiful tile work in the kitchens and bathrooms will be going away! I contacted Member Services and of course they could not tell me that there would be any way to get a few "souvenir" tiles of my own...they just said they were going to the landfill to be recycled. Is there anyone from down that way that has any idea what landfill they use down there or could give me a clue who to contact to see if I could score just a few tiles (assuming, hopefully, there might be some still intact)? Those tiles just really made the feel of the resort for me and I will miss them so much!

I too was disappointed that the turtle tiles were removed, but trust me when I say the reno they did is amazing. The rooms feel a lot more upscale now than before. They did an excellent job!

That is good to hear. Thanks for the encouragement! Looking forward to our next visit to check it out (probably not till October 2017 though).
