SO sad- have to wait till 2010 - DH said no to 2009 :(

7 nights with tickets and dining - just by paying for 4 nights !

I checked out WDW wendiste for the week before Easter 2009 , Monday after Palm Sunday to Monday after Easter (my kids are out of school) - and I could get the BC (our dream resort for about $3500.

Averaging out by dividing out the costs for 4 adults for dining ($160 a day for 7 days) and park hopper passes ($100 a day for 4 adults for 7 days) - the BC would cost about $200 a night

Plus plane tickets - worst case would cost $1600 for 4 people on JetBlue.

It still would have been a great deal for my family.

Then I heard the complaints.

They all want a visit to WDW in 2010

teen DD said it would interfere with her school play and honors math homework packet.

teen DS wants to stay at least our normal 12 days, if not for 14 days.

DH wants to see how the economy goes in 2009, job status, and the desire to go to WDW for longer than the 7 days if airfare is still at peak rates (you pay to get to WDW and back no matter how long you stay at WDW)

Sorry for my venting and I hope others have a magical time in WDW during the freebies of 2009

So sorry Pohh2001 , sometimes it just doesn't work out. Maybe you can have a splendiferous trip for your 25 anniversary? Here's to 2010! It's sooner than you think (Although, I know, not as soon as 2009...)

my DD said to me, forget what WDW is doing right now for 2009 and dream of 2010 (Yes, our 25th wedding anniversary celebration vacation. It will also be our DS 18th brithday when we go.) I have a Disney song CD on now to listen to.

Our good friends leave tomorrow with their DD to stay at the BWV for 1 week. They got a great DVC deal through their brother. Our friends have not been to WDW since 15 years ago and their DD has never been to WDW (shes now 13). We sent them a box of Oreo's and a WDW Trivia Book. I called them today and wish them a magical time.

The new promo is such a good deal! We just came back from WDW so it is not for us though. Sorry you will have to wait until 2010 but your kids have great arguments for waiting!

I'll just keep on playing my Disney music CD's, reading these boards, and dreaming of 2010.

We did go in 2006 and 2007 - so I guess my family is OK to wait a few years.
I love my DH, family and the Mouse !
