So Pins, Codes, and Free dining are no advantage to campers at the Campgrounds?

I have been hoping for a code or free dining or something to lower the cost of our trip (4 nights in a tent in November with one day at MK using GAD vouchers). Threads I have read lately lead me to believe that none of these will help, is this right?

It wouldn't be a big deal. I was just hoping to save a little more.

There are sometimes AP or AAA discounted rates. I'm not sure if the "room only" discounts ever apply to campsites, but generally any offers where you're getting something "free" (like free dining) don't apply to campsites -only cabins.

There are discounts that end in August, so hopefully you should be able to get something for November. Just keep looking at the Walt Disney World web sit. When it posts a discount, click it and see if the campgrounds comes up. I did this and got a 25% discount for August. The discount said it was until August 14 and I am going August 14 to 28 so I thought it wouldn't apply, but it did. My arrival date just had to be within the discount period. They haven't released any fall dates that I know of. When they do, just call them and sometimes they will apply the discount to your existing reservations, if not, make a new one and cancel the old one. I have done that before also. I got a 20% room only discount for our 5 nights in a tent in May. Like the PP mentioned, I saw a post about the discount, called and got it applied to our ressie. Keep your eyes open and good luck!

I get at least 2 pins a year and have NEVER been able to apply them to campsites. The CMs are always more than willing to put me in a cabin though... I have a cabin... that would be MY RV!!!

My favorite was last year I called for something and obviously had a RV site and the CM asked if I would be needing magical express. I told her the baggage charge for the RV on the plane is just too much!
