So other than Lularoe where do you purchase your soft buttery leggings?

OP here. I guess I should say I am looking to wear my leggings as actual pants.
I don't want something that is going to show off everything and fall apart in a minute.
I'm looking for good quality, thick, soft leggings.

I've never found a pair of leggings that didn't show off everything - that's how leggings are cut? They are going to follow the line of your body. Perhaps you should look at yoga pants? They have a little more flow in the legs, I've found. But they still show the whole butt, no way around that unless you go the long sweater route.

I like lululemon leggings but I call them high maintenance Lol! They are nice but have to be washed separate, hung to dry and snag easily. I do like them though but I baby them.

Maybe it depends on the style/material, but Lululemon always provides me washing instructions and they can vary. The Align pants are my favorite and I always dry them per the instructions. They don't shrink. I do wash them separately, but I wash all my activewear separately anyway. Washing them separately is best to avoid any pilling.

Even the higher quality places like Lululemon appeared to be no better than the faded glory ones I have from Walmart so I refuse to pay those high prices for something that seems so cheap.

I can guarantee you Lululemon are the best quality leggings I've ever owned. I've tried all kinds of leggings and all materials - Lularoe, Target, Old Navy, Gap, Athleta, JCPenney, cotton, polyester, moisture wicking - you name it! lol! But I do understand the price tag behind Lululemon is a big deterrent. I'm just saying the quality isn't even a question.

By that I meant I did not want something super thin that clings to underwear lines etc.
I have found thicker leggings in my search and they don't show everything.

Ooh! Thanks for the clarification! Having seen way too many buttcracks in thin yoga pants and leggings at our local high school - hard not to notice when you are stuck in the crowd going up the stairs between classes - the butt is right there in your face, with a Yikes, no underwear! - I do understand the need for better density in leggings! (I've almost fallen down stairs trying to avert my eyes from the butt ahead of me, but the school is poorly designed with a bottleneck at the top of the stairwell and there's no way to avoid the traffic jam unless I leave class early, which I do when I can)

Thought of this post while shopping today. Old Navy has thick, knit leggings on sale for only 12.50! I was surprised by how thick they were and they didn't seem to be see through at all when I tried them on. They came in a bunch of different colors and even had a 2 inch elastic waste band to help hold it all in! I got two :)

I really like Vera Wang leggings from Kohls. I dislike Kohks in general, but I will shop there at least once a year for the leggings!!

I got two pair from Old Navy and I'm happy with them so far. I've never really worn leggings but Old Navy had them on special for $6 so I picked them up.

That is why leggings are not pants. Worst "fashion" trend in years.
