..with all of those nice digital pictures I have saved to my hard drive? I think I want to create album pages & then actually print them out and put them in an album. Any program suggestions? I want something realtively simple.

If you have a CD-writer, you can put them all on a CD--and then it is like a slide show

Another thing I did, was to use those pictures as my screen saver. if you go to your control panel and then to settings and then display than click on screen savers, you most likely have a screen setting option that lets you use the pictures on your hard drive as an ongoing "screen saver" slide show.

I Love this--everytime I walk by my computer, it is displaying a picture that brings back memories. On mine, each picture is displayed for about 10 seconds, and the another pops up in random order.

Good suggestions. I love the idea of the slideshow/screen saver.
Dan, will the adobe program allow me to create & print scrapbooking type pages?

I use Microsoft Picture It for all my digital scrapbooking. In addition DH always burns 3 cd's for us. One is for him to use as needed, one is given to me for my scrapbooking and the third is placed in a fireproof safe. If God forbid something were to happen to the house and all our scrapbooks etc. were destroyed at least we would still have all the pictures.

The problem I see with this is that anything you print on your computer is not on acid free paper and the ink is not stable,...they will definatly fade and turn funky colors.

It can get expensive but those pictures you want to save in hard copy form, you will need to have printed by professionals. I use shutterfly.com, but you can also take your memory stick or disk to a photo store and they can print them there.

In addition...you need to save those pictures on something other than your hard drive. I had to get a new hard drive and lost everything. thank goodness tech support got my computer up and running for a few days so i could save all my pictures.
