Interns are at it again. Tower challenge is starting with chapter 2. Oops.

Anyone else have Chapter 2 active for the start of the Tower Challenge? For Explorations, I have both chapter 1 and 2 active.

I waited an hour to get the kingdom pass and start anything for the challenge. This game always has a problem when the new update starts. Always.

That being said, supercharged to 31/96 pins. I have the four decoration/concession rewards in the shop, so I'm playing the TC for season happiness.

I was in meetings, so I had to wait until lunch time to start the season pass and Tower Event. Before I started, I looked at the D I S C O R D server to see what problems were being reported. Saw the issue with the Tower Event starting at Chapter 2. Fortunately by the time I got the season pass (no issue this time), the Tower Event issue had been resolved.

Not only was I stuck in chapter 2, but now I've lost all progress. I'm back as a brand new player. I've opened a ticket. I've been playing since day 1.

Good luck getting your progress back. I never did after I lost all of mine a few years back. Started over a year later. And it has been a very different experience

So they restored my progress (yay) but I am starting tower challenge over with chapter 1 and zero points/coins. So y'all have a day head start! LOL. I think I restored to yesterday somehow. Like Suzy was still on her quest that I know finished yesterday. Doesn't matter though. Glad to have progress back and finally be able to start tower challenge. Feels like I got some happiness for my troubles too.

I really need to remember that Tower Challenges are designed for non-original players to allow them to pick up characters. I just get frustrated because there are a handful of characters I still need and I can never get to the 90K chest

90k is a lot. I don't think I've cleared the 90k chest. I generally get pins or figment chests lately.

Tower's are boring, IMHO, for me. It does give me time to hoard resources and level characters, but aside from that...big nothing burger.

I am racking up pins through the daily pin reward thing. This will undoubtedly slow down, but I need 40 pins to get Spike.

The hot cocoa items have been minimal for me this time. I seem to be constantly running low where I have had plenty the past few events.

I'm overflowing at 114.

Also just bought a legendary pin chest with EC...got one new pin out of it. Up to 58/96.

I got Prince Eric from the ruby chest. Happy with that. The rest of the event chests have been unhelpful.

Am I missing something or is this cookie challenge nearly impossible without a massive spending of gems or real money? My initial observations:

1. The baking sheet gives the appearance of equal chance but if you look at the “?” it is weighted against getting the cookie to advance to the next sheet.
2. Each attempt appears to increase in cost. I’m on my 4th attempt and it costs 6 tea pots. From what I can tell I can only earn another 20 teapots from Honey Bees milestones (already hit the first milestone for 5 teapots) and 10 teapots from leaderboard for a total of 30 teapots. So, at best, I have 5 more attempts to get through 3 sheets.
3. It looks like each sheet increases in size, further lowering the chances of getting the cookie.

I know the obvious answer is that new characters are typically 500 gems and you could potentially spend less than that purchasing teapots to progress. But there certainly doesn’t look like this event is possible through grinding. Maybe other ways to earn teapots will be unveiled.

Yes the odds of getting the cookie on each page is less than the other things - think the legendary chests legendary pull percentages. But I did get the first cookie before clearing the board so that was good. Not as good luck on the second board.

And yes I’m expecting to spend a lot of gems on this one
