During first period today in Computer Science my teacher, Mr. Rocco, gave me a little leaflet about the Disney College program. And i'm only a freshman so i Have three more years to go but, can someone post a whole timeline of what is supposed to be done prior to the program and expenses and if I need a car service or take the Magical Express. Also want to know how exactly long is a SEMESTER. But a full timeline is appreciated thank you

Well, first, there really isn't anything you need to do, other than be in good standing with your university and complete at least one semester of college. A semester at Disney is either January to May, or August to December, and there are also extended programs that run into August from January, or go from May/June to December, but you will decide which one you want to do when you apply (or, if you do the January - May one, you could possibly extend while you are down there). Also, you do not need to bring your own car, as buses will be provided to take you to your work location, all the parks, a couple of grocery stores and Walmart. There are also other things you can do to get around that are quite convenient such as the trolley - but you would not be taking ME as that is for guests staying on property. CP housing is actually a few different apartment complexes right off property. If you decide to fly down, I would suggest taking the Mears shuttle to Vista (where you check in at and one of the apartment complexes). You can also bring your own car if you choose. Don't worry, if you do decide to apply, you will have to attend a mandatory presentation that will explain everything and they will answer all your questions as well - if your school does not have the presentation, you can watch it online as well. The pay is minimum wage, and you will essentially be slave labor, but it looks incredible on your resume and is an experience that will change your life. I would not have traded it for the world. There's also a program called The Disney CareerStart Program, which is for graduating high school seniors. Its a similar program where you work alongside those in the College Program, but you do the program the semester following high school graduation before your first semester of college.

Look over the information for both and decide which one will suit you best. They're similar but certain aspects are different.
