So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

More great updates MeMom! Great choice on postponing getting food. That crowd at AoA food court was crazy! :scared1: Love those shorts at Rainforest with the gorilla flexing! Might have to get me some of those. :woohoo:

This reminds me of one of the "Your Future" pictures when you ride SE! :thumbsup2

This one is perfect for her!

Oct2012Middle997.jpg
She definitely looks right at home in this one! :goodvibes

Well, well...what have we here?

Oct2012Middle1011.jpg
Mingoes!!!! :cheer2:

Someone must have told them I was broke,

because

they hid all their bills!
Oh brother........... :sad2:

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I spent the day watching my little brother graduate from The Ohio State University and Pres Obama gave the commencement address. Long day, but a good one. :goodvibes

I'm sure my doctors would totally understand if I told them I needed her out early so as not to interfere with Disney World plans. It can't be the most ridiculous thing they've ever heard.

And we are indeed naming her Disney Well so long as she hasn't grown boy parts since my ultrasound 3 weeks ago. I'll know for sure on Friday if she is still Disney Grace or has turned into Elias Preston... I'm really hoping she didn't grow any extra parts. Lol. It was an easy decision for me to want to name her Disney since Disney has really helped me through some of the roughest parts of life. DH needed a little more convincing, but ultimately he agreed.

As long as the doctor has priorities in order... ;)

Well, DIStown will certainly welcome her arrival! We'll be painting the town pink and blue in October for all of our Disney babies.

I'm usually yelling into the phone "operator, operator !!" as I push 0 :)

Oh, yes, as soon as Human Being of Some Form is a choice, I'm pushing that button.

Thanks for the AK pictures! I can just hear the music from there now..:listen:

I think Brooklynn would be so good at that job. Plus, it would give you an excuse to go to WDW and visit her!

It will be the perfect excuse to pack Jill and the younger girls up and go see our favorite pet lover in action! :woohoo:

I love to listen to Animal Kingdom music. I have the CD to listen to in the car, but sadly, it is scratched in some parts. Most of it is still good, though, and it makes me happy to hear it. :)

I just love how vividly you describe all of your trips and finally decided to join so I can actually post my reactions You take pictures of so many different details and I look forward to searching for them whenever Frankie and I go to the parks next time. Also, I have a younger sister, and seeing the pictures of your girls and reading your narrative reminds me of me and Katie on Disney vacations with our parents when we were small

That's nice to hear that it brings up good memories. It is fun to go find things we see in other people's pictures, too, isn't it? I have certainly done that same thing! :goodvibes

Hello, nice to meet you, and Congratulations! What a great name for the future Disney Princess princess::littleangel: Deb in NY

Nice yo met you as well :wave2: And thank you!!!! We're pretty excited about her :)

New friendships form here. :thumbsup2

What a nice way to end my day, seeing awesome AK pictures!

And congratulations to all the mommies and daddies celebrating their baby news! That MeMom has quite the touch in the fountain, doesn't she? No "man" news for me yet - maybe I'll meet a cute, nice, available man on the Cruise. A girl can dream, right?

Just remember, we can find other fountains in Disney World. :)
Maybe the cruise will be a good place to meet a nice cast member!

nice pict......squirrel!

:lmao:

I am used to your kind.
I teach eight year olds.

I love your AK pictures! I think Brooklynn looks like she could be a great AK CM someday!!

Awww, no MeMom TR would be complete without mingos!!

The pink bird is our mascot, of course. :cheer2:

Happy Sunday all!

Love the AK pics this morning!
I think it will be fun to visit with Brooklynn when she is in the college program one day at AK.

Just booked our hotel for next weekend in Syracuse.
A little trip to celebrate Mother's Day. Complete with a stop at the Disney Store.

We are going downtown today to see the beautiful tulips.

Such pretty flowers!

Hope you had a wonderful day. It rained here all day yesterday and was gloomy most of the day, but the sun is trying to peek out now.

My girls will be here next weekend. It's hard to belive another Mother's Day is here already!

I have not posted in a while but I have cont. to read along. I am recovering from a stomach virus myself. One good thing I been saying I needed to lose about 5 pounds. I may have gotten my wish. Have a good week at school as you countdown the days.

I may have lost five pounds, too. Unfortunately for me, I need to lose another fifty to go with it. :guilty:

We have a LOT of paperwork and testing to do in the last weeks. It is a major headache, but these people love numbers in boxes on papers, so we do what we have to do.

What? You wouldn't have laughed at my joke if I really had said it??? :upsidedow

I am sorely disappointed. :snooty:

That is true about the SSE pictures. Those head shots are very odd looking sometimes!

Congratulations to your brother! I'm sure it was a fun family day. I think there were many graduations this weekend. I also saw lots of prom pictures on FB. Lots of memories made this weekend.

How many commencements does the President do each year, do you know? Wonder how the schools are chosen?

I thought I was going to be booking our first stay at Pop Century today but we ended up at Port Orleans - Riverside instead. The pass holder price for Pop was the same as the military price at POR and since we'll have our military member (my dad) with us this time, I couldn't pass up a moderate for what we were planning to pay at Pop. We'll make it to Pop someday.

They said we were 1 of 3 this year, but they didnt say who the other 2 were.

Ahhh, Animal Kingdom. I would love to be there today. Great pictures as usual.
Brooklynn looks so grown up in some of those pictures.

Agreed, it makes me that much more excited to explore the parks :) I enjoyed your recent Animal Kingdom updates so yesterday we went there (the weather was in the 70s and breezy, perfect!) and I thought of Bella when we saw the mingos on the safari (I had no idea they no longer have poacher storyline!) and you and Brooklyn when we went to Rafiki's Planet Watch and saw an operation underway. I believe it was for a warthog who hurt his foot. We were only there for a few hours and did not really go into any stores or restaurants...but my new "goal" for AK is to look up and notice the details :goodvibes Hope that you had a great weekend!

Is Pizzafari the restaurant that once didn't have pizza available as a choice on the kids menu? Or did I make that up? Anyway, I see it's there now. I think though I would have got the chicken caesar salad as well. Yum!

I think Brooklynn is smiling in that photo because she has a pretty awesome MeMom. ::yes::

I want to stay at Riverside for a couple of nights. It has a nice, peaceful atmosphere. Hope you have a fabulous trip! I'm sure there will be many chances to get to Pop.

They said we were 1 of 3 this year, but they didnt say who the other 2 were.

1 speech is always to one of the Academies.

That makes sense. :thumbsup2

I read that he is speaking at Morehouse, but I don't know where else.

Ahhh, Animal Kingdom. I would love to be there today. Great pictures as usual.
Brooklynn looks so grown up in some of those pictures.

She's getting to be a 'growny girl', for sure.

I'm going to Nashville Zoo Wednesday. I'll be pretending I'm at Animal Kingdom. ;)

I think you may be right. I think there was PBJ and Mac & Cheese. I have to be in the mood to eat their pizza or the same kind at Pizza Planet. With a salad, though, it's not too bad. The salad gives it some flavor.

Aw, you are too kind. Brooklynn and I have a good time when we are together. I hope she has good memories of times we shared at Animal Kingdom.

I never thought that I would wind up living in Florida. I'm originally from New York, Frankie is from Seattle, and we met in Celebration/Disney back in June 2008 at an acting/film program. The rest is history (we just got married at Disney a couple of weeks ago! :lovestruc ). We're both Disney fans and enjoy going to the parks when we have the time. There is just something so magical about our happy place, whether we're walking down Main Street USA and looking at the majestic castle or watching an operation on a warthog ;) Magic never gets old.

I've always enjoyed your trip reports and reading about the memorable times that you have with your family. Your little girls are so lucky to have such an amazing MeMom! :goodvibes

Ooooh, a shopping update! Love it!

Ooooh, a shopping update! Love it!

Well, you came from the far reaches of the U.S. to get to Florida. From all of those hundreds of miles between you, isn't it cool that your paths crossed in such an awesome place? :goodvibes

With all of those Rainforest pictures, you might feel like you were actually in the store with us. :upsidedow

I am a far cry from amazing, but I hope they like me okay. I don't have the fine china and fancy house, but I hope they have memories of us doing fun and silly things together, and I hope they have extra special Disney World memories that will make them smile when I am long gone.

Owen was excited to see his name on a mug! I think Hannah and Brooklynn would get along famously and spend all their time shopping for new stuffed friends. ;).

I think it's really cool that Frankie and I happened to meet and fall in love at Disney. It makes an already magical place that much more meaningful to us :)

Yes, I don't think there's anything at Rainforest Café that you didn't take a picture of! I love Brooklynn's choice for her newest stuffed friend :goodvibes

I'm sure that your family will always cherish memories of Disney World vacations with you :cloud9: I'm sure your presence makes a big difference to them.

I wonder where you are headed next...hmmm...
