That didn't last long here did it?
Your guy won- but it seems you can't quit the bashing :confused3

And don't bother asking which threads-all you need to do is read:sad2: .

and the same can be said for the non-gracious losers. There are always some in every crowd; that's the one thing you can bet on.

Not everyone is non-gracious, so don't say we are all the same.

But the same thing can be said for the McCain supporters. I even saw saw someone say it was the end of the world - and they were serious.

Well if you accuse the other side of cheating when you lose by 4 million votes, chances are you won't be that gracious in winning either.

Exactly. People are celebrating because it's a great victory. Sure some people take it too far, but look at all the "RIP America" posts as well. That's the unifying spirit, to declare our country officially "dead" because your candidate wasn't chosen? Talk about childish. The basis of this thread is childish in and of itself.

It's a big bandwagon, ya'll jump on!!!!

Yep.

Well considering that people weren't allowed to be disappointed 4 years ago without comments like "have an issue, here's a tissue" on the disappointment thread, I'm not surprised. Payback and all.

That said, I'm disappointed in attitudes on both sides of the fence. I am happy Obama won, but I'm certainly not gloating. Neither option was a true victory for me and while I understand what it is like to be disheartened by the results of an election (believe me I'm disheartened this year by some results) I don't think it's the end of the world either.

I agree.. However, having not supported either candidate (which basically makes me a "non" winner for all intents and purposes), I will admit to trying to encourage people to be optimistic and hopeful - rather then making comments such as "America has died"' - or hovering in a corner overcome with fear in regards to things that have yet to happen and may never happen.. Dwelling on such thoughts will not accomplish anything - other than ruining ones health..

So - if that's "non-gracious" from a "non-winner" - I guess I'm guilty..:guilty:

Can't you just be happy your candidate won? Is that so hard to do?

You can put down the unhappy voters and all their stupid comments all you want, but why do so many feel the need to continue to bash McCain and Palin?
Bash the people who are bashing you, not the losers in the race.
It's over- you have no need to do so- it just makes you look immature.

I am a non-winner too, I voted "other".

I agree, I hate the same comments you do- knock those comments people are making- not the losing candidates.

And starting a thread to bash Obama supporters isn't immature? Pot... meet kettle ;) But you're right, its over and people do need to move on. I have the utmost respect for McCain but he didn't win. Its time for people to rally behind Obama and the change he will hopefully bring to this country, which we all so desperately need.

but why do so many feel the need to continue to bash McCain and Palin?.

I have not bashed any of the candidates.. Now Bush - that's a different matter..;)

I haven't been one to get ugly on these threads. It's just not who I am. I am not attacking you here. But I can ask the same question. Why do some republicans continue to bash democrats and Obama? It makes them look immature too. It seems like sour grapes to me.

Both sides are being babies, if you ask me. Why does everything hafta be one way or another? all or nothing?

This is an exciting time for America! The world is celebrating! I feel we are getting back a lot of respect we lost with Bush. Now is the time to be hopeful!

I just got done reading a thread that said the economy is getting worse because OB was elected, the markets went down again as usual but the blame was put on OB, go figure.
