Since I want to eat everywhere in the world one day, I always try to incorporate new restaurants into our trips. We are going over for ESPN weekend in March which will be a quick two nighter.

Arrival night, Cape May Cafe or ESPN Club - depending on if we can squish in there or not.

Saturday, 50's PT for lunch and Mama Melrose or Brown Derby (maybe) for dinner. 50's is a little heavy for lunch so maybe a counter service....

Cape May and MM would be new for us...so hopefully we can make it there. Although if we could snag a table at ESPN I would be thrilled!

I am trying to work on our May trip I have so far:
Maya Grill dinner
1900 PF Dinner
Le Cellier dinner
all booked...MG is the only new one. I am going to add CG and maybe Kona Cafe dinners as well.

Why is this such torture? I know we need these ADR's but why can't I be decisive??

What's everyone's secret to choosing their restaurants?

Our family remembers the places we really like to eat and keep them in mind for the next time we go. We also pick places according to what each family member likes. For example, all of my family does not like Mexican food :sad2: , so we never eat at Mexico.

We have so many favorites, it's hard not to just go back to those places over and over again....

maybe I should do what I planned earlier and throw all the names in a jar and pick a few out!! I have a feeling I may be sneaking some back in and redrawing!

Decide where you are going to be at the times your wanting to eat...Then post your options...take a poll!

I'm a "creature of habit" too. Of course, all the restaurants that we go to now were once "new" and there was a first time for ech of them.
Would be a lot easier if I weren't 1,000 miles away!! Oh to live near WDW!!! BUt with just 7 dinners it's hard to risk a bad meal somewhere---
Interesting putting all the TS restaurants in a jar and drawing names--wonder what would turn up??????

I dont consider restaurants that seem like what we have around home- so no chinese food, Rainforest, Planet Hollywood, Wolfgang Puck. Were not into character meals- so only doing CP for lunch one day, that narrows it down. We plan alot for the park where we will be for the day so that narrows the choices too--dont try to run all over the world fitting places in, its too exhausting!

that's the thing...we kind of hate to plan what park we'll be in...sometimes we go to two or even three parks for different things in a day...and we would like to spend a lot of time at the pool, etc....I try not to plan any lunches, just dinners....

My DH, loves to enjoy a beer :drinking1 after a long day of walking in EPCOT. So we always make a reservation that day for dinner in England at the Rose and Crown. We get an outside table near the lagoon, eat and then relax and get a great view of the show.

Most of the time, however we eat based on where we are at the time.

well I booked all our dinners for May

Maya Grill
1900 Park Fare
California Grill
Le Cellier
Kona Cafe

2 are new to us...Kona and Maya Grill...can't wait to eat!
