So many resorts, so little time...

So that's where we're stuck. How cool is that? Too many options. Any suggestions for making this decision? Thanks!

RCI is our new exchange group, right? I'd like to know if anyone has used them, too. Maybe someone with experience in another vacation club? I know others use them.

I'd try and use 2 yrs worth of pts and stay at AKV concierge for a week if you can get it.

In your situation - I would look into RCI. Some really good friends of ours own there and LOVE it. Way before we owned at DVC we went on several vaca's with them (pre-our kids). We went to Vegas, Daytona beach, and Ft. Laurderdale beach. The rooms are nice! We always stayed in two bedrooms! IMO the rooms were bigger then DVC and I think a lot cheaper to get a 2 bedroom. The resorts are nice - nothing like Disney but if your going to a destination they are good - big pools - Daytona even has a lazy river. It isn't something we would do now beacsue we just LOVE disney!! But in your situation with a free vaca house I would look into it!! Look at the resale market!!

We have 250 points and they take about the same number of trips as us and paid a fraction of the price - But to me Disney is priceless!

My DH brought home a new "Member Getaway" brochure from last week's event at Disneyland. We ran through the list of RCI resorts ... forming a few columns: those we've stayed at (23), those we've visited (another 8) and those we'd like to visit (a nice long list). The best part was reliving the wonderful memories ...
