Good morning,

I might be interested in cabana rental (Serenity Bay) for our next trip and I have many questions:

1) Where can you book it? (they say you can do it online but I can seem to find where on the DCL website).

2) When can I book it?

3) Do you have to pay in advance or is it like all other CC activities, they are charged at the end of your stay?

4) If you change your mind, how long in advance can you cancel it?

5) Are they hard to score? (Looking for a Serenity Bay one on a 4 nights on the Disney Wonder cruise in March 2016)

Thanks in advance!!!

Online - It's a Port Adventure

2) When can I book it?
When you check-in. 75 days for 1st time cruiser, 90 days for Silver, 105 days for Gold, 120 for Platinum, 125 for Concierge

3) Do you have to pay in advance or is it like all other CC activities, they are charged at the end of your stay?
Pay at the end of your cruise.

4) If you change your mind, how long in advance can you cancel it?
Up to 3 days before your cruise.

5) Are they hard to score? (Looking for a Serenity Bay one on a 4 nights on the Disney Wonder cruise in March 2016)
Nearly impossible unless you are concierge.

You might have some luck since ur trying to book in SB. It's not impossible....people cancel all the time, so even if they are sold out you can check frequently for one to pop up. Our first time cruiser friends got one for their cruise in May, so it's possible.

The cabanas on SB are easier to get than the ones on FB. Go on at midnight when your booking window opens, you never know one may be available. If not, just keep checking online daily and often thoughout the day. When we were silver we scored one a few times.
The cabanas are the best, I have been so spoiled I hate going to CC without one. Definitely easier on The Wonder/Magic then on the bigger ships.
Good Luck.

Keep checking even after you board. Several years ago on a whim, DH checked with the port adventures folks a couple of days before we arrived at CC and there were two available on SB. He reserved one right then and I think the other was reserved that same night. You never know.... Good luck!

This is so true, we booked a last minute cruise out of Miami last year and there were no cabana's left at that point, so I went to guest services when we boarded and put our name on the waiting list for a SB cabana. The afternoon before we were to be on CC, we found our cabana bracelets on our fish waiting for us at our door, we were so excited.
Its so true you never know.....

You never know. If you are on one of the smaller ships I think your chances are better. We were on the Magic and Gold members. I snagged a Serenity Bay Cabana when I was able to book at 115 days. I got the last one, but the day of our Castaway Cay day the Cabanas on either side of us were empty, so it is probably worth it to check right up til you go onto the island.

I go every January for 3 nighter (most recent on the Dream) and typically there are at least 3 or 4 empty. It is January though.....

It seems everytime we go to SB there are always cabana's available, even though when you check online they are all "sold-out."
I have never seen all 4 taken.
We typically sail in Jan/Feb. for our anniversary or my birthday.

I don't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed so I am not expecting anything, but I will keep trying until we get on board. :)

Like I said, check even onboard up until the day you are going to CC. Sometimes possible for people to cancel even then.

We got one on a 3 night in June by walking up the the SB cabana check-in area. They had one open and we were able to move right in :-)

Castaway Cay is our first stop. :)

Ours too! We're on the Nov. 11 Magic 4 day and are staying on board for a B2B for the following 5 day Western. I'm really hoping to score a SB Cabana on the first leg. I'll know tomorrow at 12:01 AM when I log on to reserve. Fingers crossed:worship:
