So mad!

I've been home from our trip on the Fantasy now for 5 days. Since I've been home,

1. No one has spoken to me in an exotic accent.

2. No one has put chocolates on my bed at night.

3. No one has laid a napkin on my lap at dinner.

4. My drink isn't just waiting for me when I arrive at the dinner table.

5. No one makes towel animals every day and puts them on my bed.

6. No one has invited me to dance after dinner, to dance at a pirate party, to dance, PERIOD...

And the kicker...

7. Today after work, I was exhausted and thirsty, so I pulled through the ChickFilA drive thru. I ordered an unsweet tea and on a whim, ordered an Ice Dream cone. IT SUCKED. I was hoping it would be JUST LIKE the self serve chocolate ice cream on the pool deck, but NOOOOOOOOO!

So mad!
(and just having some good natured fun, obviously. i just miss the heck out of being on that boat!)

Ahhhhhh, the reasons that I can't leave the ship without already having another one booked.

We went to Disneyland last Sunday and when we got a Mickey Bar, it didn't come in a nice serving dish and can you believe that CM actually expected me to pay for it (no tip for him)!!!

Even worse, when I get out of bed and open my curtains....I only see the house next door. No ocean??? What gives??



(I will be you in 3 months since I getting on the Fantasy in 2 1/2).

The first thing I tell people about why I like Disney cruises is that it's the only place I know of where 3000 people seem like they're just waiting to see how they can help me.

Yea, ordered two appetizers and an extra dessert, had to pay for it! Plus, when I walked in the restaurant, there wasn't anyone there handing out a towelette? I miss cruising!!

We went straight to WDW after our cruise and couldn't figure out why Ronald wasn't turning our bed down or leaving us chocolates each night.

We also has to pay for snacks! AND drinks! No popping to deck 11 for a pink lemonade.

Now we are home the service is awful. No one clears the dishes after I've eaten and then I'm expected to wash the dishes too! Plus they keep forgetting to give me several desserts, I'm lucky if I get one!

When we arrived home from our first Disney Cruise, we had to go out and buy cloth napkins to use during dinner. Our children were quite upset that we did not already own some.

Oh, my...I feel your pain! I haven't had a handsome bartender with a Scottish accent mix a dirty martini (or fix a nice latte) for me in months!

I always bring home some chocolates and put them on my kids' pillows our 1st night home. Just to help ease them back into the realities of home life.

Ds12's chore is emptying all the trash & putting it out to the curb. So when he needed to enter ds16's room, he knocked & said, "Housekeeping!"


Having another one booked is the key! I really need to start working on the next one right away to help get me through my first few days back to work.

For some strange reason, dinners just haven't been as tasty since we got home. I think I need to fire the chef!

And that movie screen SHRUNK!

My DS is 2 weeks shy of 17. We went on our first ever cruise last August - a Western on the Fantasy.

DS keeps asking me when we're going on our next Disney cruise.

Did I mention that DS is almost 17? And he WANTS to go on a Disney cruise with his MOM?!?!

Same here! We went on Dream a few yrs back & my son has bn saying he wants to go back on a cruise so he can do Vibe 1 last time bfor he's 18 & he knows that means a vaca w mom lol!

This is the funniest thing I have ever read!!!! Keep it coming!!!! We sailed in Nov 2010 and then in May 2011. Talk about spoiled...LOL!!! Then we had a LONG dry spell (pardon the pun)!!! We sail again in November, and you can believe I will be rebooking on board!!!

When we open the back door, all I see is grass that needs to be mowed and POLLEN. Where are the warm ocean breezes, the beautiful blue waters of the Atlantic/clear waters of the Caribbean?

Also, in the "Oceaneer's Club" in my house, I have to hound the staff to clean up their mess. And I feel like I'm the one watching the kid! What's up with that? Disney needs to FIRE this particular CM!

Last night, DH and I started thinking about the 14 night PC cruise....for September 2014. Gotta start saving N.O.W. !! Wish we had thought of this sooner and rebooked onboard.

Thanks for all of the hilarious posts! We are still looking forward to our first cruise in May of 2014, and then I will be able to relate to all of you. Good idea about booking on board to help when we get back home.

I hope your swim-suits are light-colored. Otherwise, that cholorination could easily bleach them several shades lighter. BTDT

So I took some of the Sleepy chocolates home with us (whenever we had spares, I grabbed them) and left one on DD's pillow. She just noticed it and came running out, all excited.

AND - went to dinner tonight at our typical Mexican place, right up the road from our house. A SERVER ACTUALLY CALLED DD BY NAME AT DINNER!

The balance of the universe is shifting in our favor.
