"so low" pants

I love the low pants. I am short thru that area so the lower the pants are the better they fit!

Im 30 and wear them! ;) I dont see a problem with them as long as the girls wearing them arent revealing too much of anything. Most of them wear longer shirts with them so no biggie!

LOL!! I've never heard of "so lows". I've seen "Ultra-Low rise" before. Personally I like "just below waist".

I work in a middle school as an aide -- sit in the back of the classroom. I call myself the "butt crack patrol". The worst part is when I discreetly whisper to a girl that she is sitting down and a good 4 inches of her crack is showing, they get annoyed at me, and roll their eyes. I always tell them if my butt crack was exposed in middle school I would have had to change my name and move but they could care less. I think the boy are immune to it too, they see cleavage and cracks staring them in the face all day long. It amazes me how parents drop off their kids for school. Last year a girl called me a witch with a B for sending her to the office for her midriff showing. She had to write a note to her Mom telling her what happened. The Mom called the school -- was she upset because she cursed at an adult - HECK NO!! She wanted to know if I really had to say something to her DD, because she doesn't see a problem with her dress!

Thank you for giving me my laugh of the evening - "butt crack patrol!"

I do have to wonder what these kids are thinking with some of the outfits they wear. I remember (back in the olden days of the late 70's/early 80's) that we girls would have been MORTIFIED if someone saw our bra straps or, god forbid, our panties.

LOL Kallison - your post is so true.....kinda sad too!

I am an official member of the "butt-crack & cleavage patrol" with my 13yodd. She really doesn't show the crack but the cleavage, oh yea, lots of "discussion".

I hate the really low pants with the tiny tops. Just doesn't look good if you ask me. I don't care how tiny or skinny a girl is.
That said, I wear low rise pants because they are so comfy. But I can't do the really low rise (too much overhang).

Well, I am a 28 year old adult and I went shopping for jeans yesterday... It's hard to find anything BUT (no pun intended) low cut jeans. I swear, I tried on 10 pairs. I finally found one that actually covered my stomach and it turned out that they did not belong on the sale rack I'd grabbed them from, and instead cost about $45. :earseek:

Needless to say, I did not buy them. I wound up going to Target and getting a $20 pair that semi cover my stomach. I will be wearing them with long sweaters...

When I was in middle school, I'd have gone home crying if my midriff or butt was exposed to my peers. I think it's kind of sad that some kids these days have no sense of modesty. Although, I know a few teen and pre-teen girls mine and Chris' neices ages from 8-17) and with few exceptions they all talk about how they don't like the low cut jeans.

I love super low rise jeans! I find they fit better because my butt is A LOT bigger then my waist. Before low rise became popular, it was really hard to find pants that pants that at my waist and my butt. I just make sure to wear a longer sweater or shirt.
