I'd have to go to my laptop to get my most recent pics of my BRATS, but truthfully Helenabear's two look so much like my Aaliyah and Xena it doesn't matter!!

And Dax, your Baby Kat is identical to my Max! :teeth: I have one more, my ragdoll Meeko....

He looks sooooo sweet here but he is a TOTAL HOODLUM!! :teeth:

We have 8 airedales plus 2. The plus two are two of the pups I kept to show from the last litter.
Here is a picture of "Duffy".

We have 3 kitties, and they are all in my sig.

I got Gracie, aka "the queen," about 8 years ago from a no-kill shelter in upstate NY. She is the sweetest kitty and LOVES to cuddle. She thinks that everyone she meets is a cat and loves to groom people.

We got Daniel, aka "puddin," from the SPCA in Houston, TX. He's "my boy" and quite the talker. Whenever you are on the phone, he thinks you are talking to him and everyone always asks if that's a cat in the background. DH works at home so sometimes I have to take him out of the room while DH is on a conference call.

Bagheera is the newest addition to our family. The weekend before thanksgiving, we opened our apartment door to find the cutest black kitten in our hallway. Before DH could finish saying "don't pick that cat up!" the kitty was clinging to me, purring his head off. I asked all of the neighbors if they knew who he belonged to and one mentioned that they saw someone drop him off with food, water and a towel. We took him inside and left a note on his towel for a few days before claiming him as our own. I'm sooo glad because it took me all of 5 seconds to fall in love with him. He's a real sweetie and a cuddler, loves to burrow under the blankets so he can be touching you without blankets in the way.

I'm amazed that he's only been here a couple of months but as you can see, they all get along. We can't get another cat because there is nowhere left on my lap for them to go!

I have 4 beagles:

Lucy's sneaking into the cat picture. LOL! She's such a ham!

We have 2 cats, 2 aquariums and a fish pond in the back yard.

We have Subway, who is a 12 year old male cat. He really belongs to the neighbours but he prefers to live at our house. He eats and sleeps in our house. I even take him to the vet if he needs to go. The neighbours still think that he is their cat though. They are not really cat people.

We also have Mischief, a little girl cat who is 1 yr and 2 months old. She really lives up to her name and is a little devil. She likes to scratch the furniture, even if we are sitting right there beside her.

I will try to post some pictures if I can figure out how to do it.

we have one very fat cat...she's about 11 years old now. she doesn't do much but lay around and maybe play with a toy or two. she's a blonde kitty and her name is dusty...

and as of last night, we have added a new addition to our family! her name is jasmine. (she was already named when she came to us) she's a lab/rottweiler mix...8 weeks old...and such a spitfire! we're working on the potty training thing...it's coming along. but she's constantly doing that puppy biting thing...but she's so cute...here's a pic from the adoption people we got her from...

Okay hopefully this will work this time!

Here is Subway, well at least here is Subway's body. I love this picture, he looks like a turkey waiting to be stuffed. His head is tucked underneath his leg at the front of the picture!

Many, many thanks go out to Dan Murphy for all of his help in making these pictures happen.::yes::

Ahhh! They're all so cute!

We have 4 cats. Three of them are Abyssinians: Griffin is 14, Tigger is 8, and Max is 6. The newest addition is 7 month old Casper, who is a fuzzy black ball of fur we adopted during a PETCO adoption w/end.

Then there is the ferret, Sisko, who is around 3. He was a rescue that we got from our vet.

Last but not least, the 2 box turtles who are currently hibernating in their pen in the backyard. Ages undetermined, genders guessed. Zippo is a girl (she laid eggs last spring), and Speedy is most likely a boy.

Then there is DH who is around 46 and DS who is 8. Do they count?

A little cheer for Dan Murphy:

Dan, Dan, he's a busy man......

If he can't help you, no one can......

Yeaaahhhh, Dan!!!

We bought him on Valentines day 2001. We went to the pet shop to buy his mothers bird some new toys and decided to nip upstairs to look at the birds and found him.

He was all alone in the front corner of a cage full of birds, i asked the attendant about him as he was the only bird in the whole cage with his pearl markings, all the other ones were ordinary grey cockateils, so just really making conversation, she said he was being picked on by all the other birds as he did not belong to a pair and as he has to sit at the front of the cage he is subject to people putting thier hands in trying to touch him, so he is a bit moody, thats why he hasn't sold in 6 months.
At that point a grey cockateil came over and took a nip out of him! that was it, we had not intended on buying him, but i was not going to leave him there so he came home with us.

When we first brought him home, he did nothing but sit on his perch and silently look at us, it took about a year for that to change. Now we have a bird who thinks he is human and we do spoil him rotten! He will eat a small portion of what ever we are eating for dinner on his own plate, but mostly he decides what ever we are eating is much better then what he has, so he helps himself to everything. he LOVES peas, pasta, brown bread, baked beans, apples, and mashed potato!

Even though he walks all over us.. literally, he is still terrribly hand shy and my hand is covered with my sleeve before he will allow me to touch him and will give a playful nip if I try and touch him without the sleeve, if this is ignored he will give you a bite to remember!

All in all he is a complete unexpected joy and an absolute terror all at the same time. I named him pixel when i was making some Kisekae dolls for a friend in photoshop for her web site, when he all of a sudden started to merrily walk up and down the keyboard changing all the cel codes! terror!

Lots of pets here...with 6 kids how could it be otherwise???

Dogs include...4 yr old Mastiff fawn in color & 180 lbs goes by Pixie but her full name is PixieDust, Next is our 3 yr old "little" dog, a Wheaton terrier/cocker mix, cute little black & gray thing that rules all the big dogs & she's only 30 lbs! Our last 2 are Newfoundlands...they have TOTALLY taken over our hearts & we will ALWAYS have Newfs now. Our older male is "Magic" he's almost 2 yrs now & I am hoping to show him in obedience this summer! Belle is our puppy at 7months...what a great personality this dog has. Once you get past the "hair" problem Newfs are wonderful!!!

Cats we have 6...O'Malley, Simba & Nala, Jasmine (or Jazzy as we call her) & Rajah, & Snickers our last adopted cat.

1 Hampster...Snowy, and only 1 chinchilla Chip. A few beta fish...I believe a guinea pig may be on the way for my DD soon.

I have to get some new pics. Oh well, I'll post this one again. Here's Casey our 5 year old Airedale. I will have to find a pic of Norman, the stray who ended up becoming a full time resident.

Here is our 6 y.o. Weimaraner, Shiloh!

Nice to see all the furry ones in our families!!!! :bounce: And good to see a few more posting pictures, enjoy.

Nagel, so glad you posted an Airedale picture too! I wish I had more casual pics of mine. Our old (15 years) house dog is dying of cancer, and I have to remember to take some photos of her in her favorite places before she leaves us.

Diane, I am always shocked how dark Airedales are when they are very young. Casey is getting 'blonder' by the month it seems. I will try to get some more pics soon.

Your Airedales are gorgeous.

Very sorry to hear about your dog.

John
