:sad1:
looks like we won't be going anywhere this weekend. 4 out of the 6 in my house are sick. dang.......:headache:

Almost 10pm, still snowing in metro Atlanta. I have almost 3" in my yard and my patio & driveway are freezing over. Tomorrow is going to be rough because there is a LOT of water on the roads. It will all be ICE in a few hours.

I'm 40 miles from the FL border on the eastcoast side and we had a little snow last night. DS20 is at college 1 1/4 hours away and he made a snowman. The last time it snowed here was December '89.

It's all gone this morning.... so much for the snow. YAY!!!!

Everytime there is a cold snap I calculate how far south we'd need to move to avoid it. So far North Fla is the minimum distance we'd need to move. Obviously Central Fla. would be even better.:earsboy:

I'm in Central Florida and it's only 39 degrees right now at 11:37am. It's been cold all over Florida this year. Maybe the Caribbean?

My dad lives in Galveston Tx and he says it only got as far as the north side of Houston. Galveston doesn't get snow very ofton, every so often there's a freak ice storm and we actually have pictures from a 'snow' fall a few years ago. But no such luck this time.
