So, just how bad is Tony's Town Square?

1) The pictures are nice . . . thank you.
2) BUT, pictures do not signify taste.
3) It could be pretty, and taste bad.
4) Which, is typical for Tony's.

And your opinion is nice and a very valuable voice on this board BUT it is just that, your opinion which also does not justify taste at all times to all people.

And we like Tony's.

We've eaten at Tony's 3 times since 2008 with the most recent time being back in October/2014. That being said, we've never had a bad meal there despite that bad rap it gets. Reviews are so subjective.

Agreed. Tony's has a bad reputation, and it's not on par with the Italian food you can get in Epcot, but I've eaten there twice and I thought it was perfectly fine. The atmosphere is gorgeous, you get views of Main Street USA depending on where you're seated, and the pistachio creme brulee is AMAZING. They serve it with a dark chocolate biscotti and everything. I would go again just for that, tbh.

It will never be confused for a 5* restaurant, but it is a place that my wife and I go each trip. Have never had bad service, the food isn't as bad as some make it out to be, and we have another ADR for Tony's in August. My wife has gluten, soy, and dairy allergies and Tony's has always done excellent for her.

I've been to Tony's twice and I can say that I have never had a good meal there. Service was OK, but this place makes Olive Garden a 4 star Italian restaurant; it was pretty bad. Of course this is only my opinion, but I will not be back. I'd much rather go to Columbia Harbour House for lunch or for dinner leave the MK for a little while and grab a decent meal at one of the restaurants at Contemporary, GF, Poly, FW or WL.

I don't really care for Tony's. It's one of my least favorite table service on property, and I've eaten at most of them. For quality I would definitely go to Be Our Guest.

I know many disagree but my two sisters and I actually liked Tony's just fine. In fact, I went ahead and made an ADR here as it is nice to eat in MK and the food is decent. I thought it was betters than most of what i'm able to get at the restaurants here at home. It's not super fancy but I don't always need super fancy (especially this trip with a 2 y/o). I say try it and make your own opinion, it's so subjective.

I didn't mind the food. I really enjoyed the zucchini fries, but the entree was just okay (nothing to write home about). The service in the restaurant was good, but I was really frustrated as to how long it took to be seated (had an ADR but was left waiting for around 20 minutes, often I was the only person waiting - everyone who arrived after me was seated before me - even those with the exact same party size). With so may other dining opportunities I haven't tried yet I don't think I would return for quite some time.

I've described Tony's food before as ranking somewhere between a Stouffer's frozen dinner and a middle-of-the-road Olive Garden. (Neither of which I consider inedible, just not worth Disney's price point.)

I think it all depends on the day. I have had good meals at Tony's and bad. We have avoided the place in the recent past. Just not the same as it was years ago

You would think that with its prime location, which is the best dining location in any park, that the food would be much better. Problem is, it's always full, so why would Disney put the time and effort in to make it better if they don't have to?

It has been years since we ate at Tony's. It is the only place we said never again! We have stayed firm with that decision.
