SO jo Bro...

I just looked at the virtual seating on the Wachovia website, not bad.

Have fun. Oh----one word of advice-----buy earplugs. I'm serious. You're ears will be ringing for a couple of hours after the concert. My ears were ringing for about 90 minutes after the concert. You will hear much better with the plugs. You might want to get a pair for your daughter. It's a combination of the volume of the concert paired with the screaming. The plugs will filter out alot of the background noise, and you will hear more of the music better.

I play bagpipes, and playing pipes in a closed room with 10 other pipers is NOTHING compared to the noise level I experienced last summer. I ears never rang after practice.

Thanks for the advice. I will see about buying them for sure.:)

What do you guys know about buying tickets from Livenation.com?

thanks

First thing, set up an account. It will make things go faster.

Are you doing presales or general public? If you are doing a presale, the code will automatically show up in the box for a special promotion code. When you click on the presale code, it will bring you automatically to ticket broker website. Choose the number of tickets wanted from the drop down menu and ask for best available. It will bring you to the "captcha verification". Type the two words (if there are two). And it will tell you if seats are available and you have two minutes for purchase or "Sorry, nothing available".

Livenation is just another Ticketmaster outlet.

I buy tickets all time from Ticketmaster/Livenation. Opt for the e-ticket if you can print at home. If you don't want that, you can have the real tickets mailed to you. E-ticket gives you detailed info on how to do it.

I am doing general sales. I had received an email from livenation about presale today at 10. Are their charges similiar to ticketmaster? thanks

I don't know. I would guess it's probably the same, about $10 per ticket as a service charge.

I just went on the Livenation website and I see another show has been added to the Nassau Coliseum, 7/19. It's the day after we return from Disney and we plan on spending the day at the Rockland County Feis. I'm not even telling my dd. I'm not even attempting to get additional seats for the 7/21 show, I was hoping they'd return to the Garden, but I don't think that is happening. I'm not driving back and forth from upstate NY to LI two days in a row. One show is good enough for us.

anyone having luck with live nation this morning.. I was going for the NJ show.

momthe:

I think i am just as enthusiastic as you! I almost bought tickets for DD to see them in Philly! I already got tickets to NJ and was like "oh let's go see them in phill;y 4 days later"

luckily i came to my senses but man...

I got my tickets this Morning :cool1: I did not join the Fan Club I did with the whole Hannah thing and got tickets but was afraid to spend the extra money. I figured if I got them I got htem the timing is horrible for me between our Disney, Cheerleading, Softball etc

One of our Local News Stations had a presale password that you sign up for and then you went to Live Nation and it sent you over to Ticket Master. I got them no problem and am really happy that I didn't spend the extra on the Fanclub we are going to the July 25th show in Pittsburgh!

Lisa-were you able to get any tickets through live nation? I had already gotten tickets through the fan club presale but was pretty miffed to not get a live nation code. i am a memeber and was hoping to get one to pass along to a friend.

Got my tickets this morning at 10:00. Got 4 rows off of the floor. I have an account with ticketmaster that sends me alerts / emails for the venue here in Nashville, TN. I added Jonas Brothers to "my artists". They sent me a password on Wednesday to use this morning. Glad that I did not pay for the fan club. Hope everyone enjoys the show!!

Do only moms take their kids to these concerts? I was thinking it would be nice for my husband to take my daughter but he doesn't think many dads will be there?

I don't know about a Jonas concert, but at Hilary Duff and the several stage productions of High School Musical that I have seen there have been lots of Dad's with their daughters.

Thats good to know..I just think my husband is more fun, and it would be cute for the 2 of them to go together.

I took my daughters to 2 shows last year & I didn't notice many dads at all. I definitely noticed this when I had to go to the bathroom: the lines were long, almost all of the stalls were out of toilet paper, & people started using paper towels which made the toilets overflow. Needless to say, walking in who-knows-what water (which was all over the floor-not just in front of a few stalls) with sandals made me a little grossed out!!!

Can't wait for this year!! :scared:

UGH! Thats not what I wanted to hear, but good to get another opinion. As for the bathrooms, NASTY! I think they ought to put twice as many women's restrooms than men's! :)

I don't think that necessarily means there weren't many dads there, I have encountered this at many concerts, not for kids, the womens restrooms are always over run at concerts for some reason, I don't understand why they don't make them bigger.

Oh yeah I know. I go to a lot of concerts but I didn't see many dads in the crowd either. Not that there weren't any, but I would say at least 3/4 of the crowd was female.

LOL, while I have seen lots of dads at these types of things, I can tell you my husband said there was not enough beer in the world for him to sit through HSM the stage production!!! And, that is where I found most of the dads during intermission, at the bar LOL.

OMG that is so funny, sounds just like my DH. On the rare occasion he does go to something like a Jonas concert, the first thing he asks is if they sell beer! :rotfl:
