So I've Been Surfing IMDB.

And I was looking at the movies that Disney would be making in the future.
They're doing a Disney animation of Rapunzel (makes me go what the hell, they don't need ALL THE FAIRYTALES).
They're doing a RL version of Alice in Wonderland (which I will not see if Johnny Depp is cast in it in any way).
And, much to my dismay and the happiness of most of you, a Hannah Montana movie slated for 2009.
Thoughts?

I agree with the dismay at a Hannah Montana movie, but I'd love to see Johnny Depp as, like, the Mad Hatter or the Cheshire Cat or the March Hare (or, if they follow the book the Catepillar or the Gryffin), perhaps even the White Rabbit. And I'd like to see Rapunzel, but it's such a short story so I don't know how they plan on doing it.

I think that the Alice and Wonderland movie sound pretty cool, not sure about Rapunzel and Hannah Montanna is very talanted, but OMG!!! I think that they should make a movie based on a book I read called The Kingdom Keepers, its all about Disney and I would kill to be the main character. I love acting....I seriously need help. lol

I don't like the HM show and I dont like how she gets so much money for basically nothing. She reminds me of Hillary Duff only 10 times worse.

I don't know I kind of just like Kingdom Keepers as a book, you know there is supposed to be a second one? and it is supposed to be about the animal kingdom.

i think theyre making a film adaptation of American Mgees Alice (in wonderland lol).... its the same story, but just with very dark and creepy twist

the Hannah Montana movie is not a DCOM movie but a movie released worldwide bleh... also releasing HSM3 worldwide in cinemas too...

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favourite disney movies i'd go see the real life adaption.

Kingdom Keepers... i remember reading somewhere that they might make it a computer generated movie... though that's just a rumour

you know Peter & the Starcatchers is going to be a movie? I think they have a website for it too.

Starring his GF Evan Rachel Wood.
...should be interesting....

i dont think rapunzel will be so bad, just like i dont think the frog princess will be bad, either. i guess it all depends on how they handle it. if they handle and promote it well like they did for enchanted, its a sure fire win.

rapunzel isnt exactly a happy story either, much like the true cinderella is. it wouldnt surprise me if they did it similar to how they did the barbie version of it. dont ask how i know about that latter one. >_>

i dont like the kingdom keepers becoming a movie. it needs to stay a book.

Rapunzal, well is it just plain animation (or are they going the Pixar route?) I do think it is time Disney does a plain old, old school, animation movie! I really miss those. (Was Pocahontas the last to hit theatres?)

Hannah Montanna...well I am a fan...but who knows. By 2009, there could be some other Disney star.

Rapunzel doesn't sound like a movie I want to see in theaters either.

Alice in Wonderland- I grew up with that movie as my fave! I always loved it! I can't wait to see it.
Rapunzel- eh maybe I'll see it.

I personally think a darker Alice would be great. I've never actually seen the entire animated film, but I've read bits of the book, and I think it would be better darker. I really don't need another disgustingly over decorated film like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The first of the two just makes me ill thinking about it. They brightened it up way too much in the remake.
