So, it's been available for two days now,

Got them Tuesday morning and I've watched all 3 of them plus everything on the extras dvd. I'm a star wars geek, look at my tag :teeth:

No, but I may pick it up tomorrow. Sounds like something good to watch during the hurricane this weekend, until we lose power!

We have the VHS collection but now my DS10 informs me that he needs the DVD collection.

You can't walk through his playroom without stepping on The Millennium Falcon, an AT AT Walker, a droid, Yoda or .... (you get the picture.):p

Ohhhhhhh, this is my dilemma LOL.

I pre-ordered through TRU ages ago. Now that I've heard about all of George's 'changes' I don't know if I want to pick them up!

Star wars came out when I was six; I was the only girl on the block who wanted to be a Jedi! But I guess I'm too into the originals, I didn't like the changes he made for the Special edition and I don't know if I want to spend another 40 bucks on the dvd's to see even more changes. So I'm still debating.

I worked our midnight release party and bought mine at about 12:15 am. :teeth:

Mine hasn't arrived yet. Maybe tomorrow in time for the weekend.

I got it for about $33 (+tax, free shipping and a after a $15 rebate) :)

And I will admit that I don't recall seeing any of the older SW movies in it's entirety. But I have seen the two recent ones a couple of time each.

Please don't hate me. :teeth:

I placed an order for a muppet action figure on Starwarsshop.com the morning it opened. Well the site freaked out and a bunch of information was messed up...so to make up for delays and mistakes the shop issued a free $50 gift certificate to the shop to all who had been mixed up in the mess that was opening day.

So I turned around and used my free $50 to pre-order the new DVD set....according to FedEx.com it left Nashville at 9:45pm tonight...should get here tomorrow!

Although I must admit, I do not like the changes he made the first time he rereleased them..and now that he's done it again...It's not right...why cant filmmakers leave well enough alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry...rant.

Picked mine up last night at Best Buy. Sat down with DD's and watched Episode 1. Just as good as the first time I saw it!!! Even better with a home theater system.

We picked them up on Tuesday morning, butonly had time to watch New Hope & Empire...
If we didn't have practice last night, we would have watched Return of the Jedi. I think we'll watch that tonight :teeth:

Like NCBelle, I'll have to wait for Christmas. Gotta put a few things on my wish list!

I already have the original versions on VHS, plus Ed. I and II on DVD if I feel the need for a fix.

Preordered the trilogy from FYE and picked it up Tuesday. My 5 and 1/2 year old has already watched Epiodes IV and V.

Got mine at TRU on Tuesday night. It was $ 49.99 but you got a free $ 10.00 gift card with purchase. ;)

I was almost 8 when I went to the movies to see Star Wars at the theater with my folks. Pete is almost 8 now and we are going to sit down and watch it together this weekend. He has seen Episode 1 & 2, but not the others. :teeth:

Here I was thinking you were talking about the last Dark Tower book.
No, haven't gotten the DVD set yet. My husband is trying to convince me it is a legit hurricane supply necessity.

We got it Tuesday. $49.99 with a $15 mail in rebate at Strawberries.
We watched the first one already, It's so clear!

Had to get 2 copies! 1 for DH and 1 for DS  Apparently the boys can't share!
