So is Livestream a no-go permanently or just temporarily?

Been a while since any of the shows were streamed live on Livestream, and I was wondering if that was just a temporary situation.

That is a good question...the last couple I tried and nothing came up so I switched to youtube. Maybe there is some techical diffidculties with the feed or something...or too many viewers and livestream can't keep up?

I wondered this, too... I prefer the livestream feed but it's been several shows now and at first they were posting that they were having problems with livestream and to use youtube instead, but this week there was no mention, there just wasn't a livestream available.

Just wondering if LiveStream has been abandoned for all DISUnplugged podcasts? Don't seem to be showing up in there anymore........and it always takes time to find the Youtube version......

We will hopefully be returning to Livestream soon. We have multiple internet connections in the studio for the different ways we broadcast and unfortunately the Livestream internet has been out and Brighthouse hasn't been able to fix it yet. We edit the shows differently now than we first did when we started the video edition and now it is more critical to go out through YouTube than it is to Livestream when given the choice, but we should be able to return to our normal broadcasting operations soon!

There was one word in this explanation that made perfect sense. Brighthouse! My parents have the worst experiences with that cable company. It doesn't surprise me that they can't figure out the problem.

I'm assuming that the email means it's a go, because that's the first email from Livestream that I've received in a few weeks.

That probably won't be changing anytime soon. We can better track numbers for the show through YouTube. That's not saying that we don't want people to watch on Livestream and enjoy the chatting options, but it makes our lives a bit more complicated.

While I realize that it is audio only, I find Mixlr to be a fine solution for listening live. If I want to "see" the show, I watch on youtube after it is uploaded there.

Unrelated (or perhaps somewhat related question)...Can you guys get "The Trip" up and running on Stitcher? I usually can't catch that show live, and Stitcher is great for re-broadcasts. But The Trip isn't on it.
