What's more likely is if Pixar goes bye-bye, Eisner (if he's still around) will try to hook-up with other CGI houses, as he has already started doing.
Really, Pixar has put out 4 successful CGIs, plus there's Ice Age and Shrek. Why should we think one more will convince him to borrow the money to rebuild what he already declared a failure?
Its much easier, and less costly UP FRONT, to just sell the brand name to somebody else.
