WOAH! I didn't realise I'd upset so many people! I should have been more clear.
I didn't just decide to write it! It was an essay title out of three to choose from and we had a lecture on it yesterday so I thought I'd give it a shot!
It wasn't just denying the holocaust, it was how can the arguments of holocaust deniers be defended and to what extent? I was actually going to conclude that it was 'not enough of an extent' and was a load of ****
I wanted to write it because my lecturer knows I'm the only jewish person in the class and tries to persuade me that given the nature of the module (interpretations of the holocaust) I should try to be more objective. Because I'm usually the only one in the class unwilling to be open minded about such things.
As for saying 'jazz up', I apologise for that, I wrote it following another thread about how much I didn't want to write my essay, so I meant jazz up in the sense that it would at least be interesting.
Actually in the end I decided it was too hard to be unbias and wrote my essay on something else.
I haven't been back to post for a while so I didn't realise this thread had got so far.
But it's nice to know so many people here thought so little of me before I even posted that. And I will reiterate one last time, I don't post anything to shock or lie or get attention....

This "holocaust denial" movement is a sick, sick thing, and I for one would never think to give them any credence, even pretend, even for school, for ONE MINUTE. The fact that you say you are Jewish makes this even less understandable to me.
Those who know me know I am one of the more tolerant people around, but this makes me.
