and a homecoming QUEEN (I know, I know...the family rolled their eyes too....)

I had such a crush on him in like 5th grade...remember how his eyes twinkled when he and some girl locked eyes?

Anyway, he sang a few songs...all the women were swooning in the audience...I have a picture which I will try to post tomorrow.

We saw him Sunday, and he informed us all that he is now a Fl resident...didn't say where...I guess he didn't want us all showing up for dinner...

I don't have his address -- but I can tell you where he lives.

He lives in Stuart, FL for part of the year. Several people have seen him, mostly at restaurants, and he's always gracious to people saying Hi and seeking autographs.

Yes, I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to get an autograph!

Yes, it is true!!! I am a major MONKEES fan!!!!

I even have videos of the old TV shows!!! And
I have there greatest hits CD's. We play them
when we are driving to Orlando.

My kids know all the songs. They love Auntie Grizelda!!
Mickey Dolenz is also quite awesome. Those were
the 2 Monkees we loved Davey and Mickey!!!

We heard that he had a really nice horse ranch in
Ocala. He had wanted to be a horse jockey when
he was younger. He loves horses.

But Stuart is closer to us, I think I might even get
star struck if I saw him ( yes, everyone, me speechless)
But how cool, and we also heard Herman and the Hermits
were there (Junebugs favorite!!) We like them too!!!

I saw him on Friday night and I was really happy. We didn't plan our vacation around going to see the Flower and Garden Festival. But I was sure glad that we were there on the day he was there. Davey always was my favorite Monkee. And boy, does he sound good! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
