My mom was booking our 2011 trip for WDW and found :scared1:*GASP!*:scared1: that they are booked at the Dolphin!!!!!!!!!!!RAWR!!! We are a family of 6 and she said that if we cant get a room there, we might have to stay in one of those Ft.Wilderness cabin-like things, which is something I really dont want to do:mad:: So I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions on where we could stay........ Thanks for your help!!!!!:thanks:

Well, it depends on a lot of things.
- What's your price range?
- Do you want to stay on site or are you willing to stay elsewhere?
- Are you depending on Disney transportation?
:confused3

I've been to Fort Wilderness, but we were in a camper, not a cabin. Although I hear the cabins are very nice :) Fort Wilderness is an amazing resort imo, but if you don't like outdoorsy stuff you probably wouldn't like to stay here!

btw, the view of the Mk fireworks display from the beach at fort wilderness is amazing!!! I love it! But if you do go, be sure to bring lots of bug screen because the water attracks mosquitos! :headache:

I agree with Disfreak24. The wilderness lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge are the best choices. I've stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and it was wonderful waking up to animals every morning.

Me and my family of six are going to Disney.. I watched my dad do all this research on the Resorts.. sooo.. there are a few places that you can look at..
*~ the Treehouse Villas
*~Boardwalk CL
*~Allstar Family suites
*~ any Villas..
Not sure what your price range is but this is a pretty big variety. We went to FT Wilderness last year and looked at the cabins.. They were pretty awesome.. I am not a Woodsy type of girl! I would stay there if my Daddy didnt like the Poly sooo much.. But good luck! :):thumbsup2

Honestly for my family it's just a hotel room. But, if your in a lower price range I would definitely stay at The Pop Century Resort. Its a lot of fun. There's a lot of cool surrounding too. Three pools, a really big store, a nice food court with a big selection, a little water park if you have younger siblings.

i stayed at the cabins once and hated them. go to the all star resorts there much nicer
