We have our first BCV trip planned for about one month from now. I am a photographer whose day job is with a daily newspaper. Between now and the day we leave for WDW it is rather daunting the work I've got lined up. My day job usually has me working 45-50 hours per week and we have two magazine deadlines between now and then. I also own my own photography business and May is always busy. I have three weddings, three portrait sessions, a 15 hour corporate job, a six hour corporate job, my daughters HS graduation and another family wedding to attend but not shoot! Thankfully I am very good at compartmentalizing my life and handling one thing at time and not getting overwhelmed by the big picture!

Vacation will be a much needed break! VERY, VERY thankful to be so busy with my daughter getting ready for college.. but also really looking forward to Disney.

Wow!!!! That is a busy schedule.
Your skill at keeping everything in order will be important. Once you reach the time of your vacation you will certainly be ready to relax and enjoy!!
Good luck with the coming months!

I'm worn out just reading your work schedule. It sounds like you'll be ready for your WDW vacation. Hope you have time to plan a few things while you are at WDW.

My feeling is that being so busy leading up to the trip will just make it all the more sweet!

Just curious, are you planing on taking photos on your vacation away from taking photos:confused3

Oh absolutely. I don't carry much with me to the parks usually just a camera with a short zoom. I don't put too much effort in my shooting while down there, that'd be too much like my job!

Yikes! My husband and I are also both in the newspaper biz. That is a hectic schedule, even for a journalist.

Enjoy your upcoming Disney time...you deserve it!

Enjoy your upcoming trip. It sounds like you need it.

Mike being a reader of your many trip reports I think my upcoming trip may resemble yours this time. It may be a stroll around, smell the roses and take a few pretty pictures kind of trip!

I think that's the best kind!

Just got home from a very stressful day and read your post. Although I am in finance, I work 60+ hours per week. Glad to see I am not alone, 174 days left until Food & Wine fest for me, emphasis on the wine! Enjoy and congrats on your daughters graduation!
