THAT IT IS DEAD DOWN THERE THIS WEEK!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

My mom just arrived at port orleans riverside for her honeymoon and she said the parks are empty. She has yet to wait in line for one ride!!! She used ME and said her luggage was in her room an hour after she was (which was at 10:00 am when she checked in) She is in the mansions, a corner room with king size bed.

So Disney here we come in T minus 3 1/2 days

It was certainly dead from Wednesday through Friday. Almost everything was a walk on and the longest wait that we saw for anything was only 20 minutes. Maggie

DH, DM and I just returned. We were there from 9/16 thru the 23rd. Park were postively empty. I have pix, but have no idea how to post them, lol. Everything was a walk-on, no waits anywhere. Heat was intense, but with plenty of air-conditioning from shops and rides, doable.

The only crowds we encountered at all were for food, namely CS places. I think we waited about 40 minutes in line at Tusker House at AK on Monday, 9/17, at about 11:30 a.m. This was our longest wait for anything all week, both at WDW and USO/IOA.

DTD was busy, IMO, on Sunday night and Saturday morning the following week.

Enjoy getting on all the rides in a few hours!

I have no doubt believing this...in the midwest, we're heavy into the fall high school sport season and our kids in college are just buckling down....so NO CHANCE any of us would be there..... I have mixed feelings knowing that DH and I could go, but without our kids...we'll, we're just not ready for that yet.

Yay! We leave in 3 days too!!!!! Maybe we'll see you there...since nobody else seems to be there, lol! :cool1:

When I was there the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of this month the crowds were pretty minimal. I actually got to see the standby cue for Expedition Everest this time. The wait time said 20 minutes but it was wrong and was around ten. This is a great time of year to go. The best part was we got the best view ever of “Illuminations”.
As for being hot – It was cooler than here (Texas).

I guess I should stop at home depot so I can make myself a lime green keychain. See you all there :thumbsup2

This is certainly good news for everyone leaving for WDW this week. Everyone have a good time. :dance3:

Hopefully it will continue till next week!

Saturday we waited 20 minutes for BTMRR and 10 minutes for HM. The line for Splash was 40 minutes so we skipped it. Sunday at Epcot we waited 5 minutes for Living With The Land. Soarin was 55 minutes so we got a fast pass. Test Track had a 20 minute stand by. Le Cellier was full all day but we walked into Rose and Crown. I thought it was pretty busy for September but it was the weekend. It was HOT and the sun is very strong too.

This is true, I think the weekends are always a lil busier, especially at the MK. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that all will be quiet when we get there. I did hear it was still pretty hot down there though, which is cool I am kinda chilly up here in the NE. :sunny:
