and PLEASE tell me it gets better. Pretty Please?
I am only done with episode two and honestly if it weren't for the fact that everybody raves about the show and it DID get some emmy nominations, I would've bailed by now.
I have no problem with any "deviations" from the book. It's the God awful accents, and the terrible stilted acting. The girl who plays Tara...did they find her acting in a high school play somewhere?? Yeesh she's bad.
The only bright spot is Steven Moyer's "smoldering". If I get to see him naked I'll keep chugging along.
Anna Paquin's hackneyed performance will only be tolerable much longer if something exciting happens soon or the plot starts to wake up.
So tell me...is it worth sticking it out, or should I pull the plug? I liked the books.

) The nakedness does take time to get used to, though.
I had to keep reminding myself, "This is HBO." Then, you get used to it, and when they show Eric now, it's kind of, "Oh, is that all they are going to show?"
