We are having breakfast at Tusker house on Christmas morning and I hear there will be a surcharge but not sure how much it is? The most I saw was $35.99 each? Is that right? And childrens price?

On a different subject I am thinking of taking some small wrapped gifts to breakfast with us to give to the characters and our waitress( in addition to a generous tip). Would that be weird? It is Christmas and I appreciate their working so our family can be there for the Holiday.

In general it is an addition of $4 per adult and $2 per child to the regular price (good luck finding a completely accurate regular price though).

It would never occur to me to bring wrapped gifts for characters or servers. I do believe that cast members cannot accept homemade food (and if they do accept it they are not supposed to eat it) but I don't know about other gifts. I don't think I'd bother wrapping them, so the cast members can see what they are being offered.

Thank you Nala! It's going to be an expensive breakfast either way! :goodvibes But we are excited about having our Christmas breakfast there. On the gift issue I was thinking small boxes of wrapped candy, definately store bought and wrapped in shrink wrap not to freak anyone out. It probably is kind of a weird idea and I haven't decided yet. But it would be a fun picture with the Characters as they come around.

The gift idea is nice but the employee may have difficulty storing anything during their busy shift. They may not be allowed to go back to a locker room or anything.

I would just throw something extra on the tip to show my appreciation.

Most recent price I've seen at TH was $26.99 adults, $14.99 kids. For a character meal, that sounds like a non-holiday price, so add on the surcharge to get your Christmas day pricing.

Plus tax and gratuity, as well.

How about getting your chidren to draw or paint some nice pictures to give to the servers and characters? I'm sure Donald would love a picture of Mickey!!!!

Claire :)
