OH so funny!!! My husband always jokes with me about "working the corner" to help with bills!! He will either say I need to change corners or raise my prices!! It's all in fun.....I play along.
? I never have understood why it is considered a thing so personal that one would be aghast to be asked about it. I mean it would be awkward to just be asked about it out of the blue, or in front of a group of people. Or if you were obviously living in poverty or obviously REALLY rich. But I can think of several other things I'd be more embarrassed to be asked about by a friend than how much money I make (or don't make).
Sad thing is I have known her since I was little.
I grew up in a household where it was rude to ask about these things. I still to this day don't know what my parents make, but it must be enough. Their house is paid for, they have lots of investments, and they travel frequently.
