My wife and I own 300 BCV points and 200 VWL points. We have managed to use them all by taking son and his family on occasion. We have never lost points, but had so many for 2008 that we are using some for a 4 day cruise next December (Mousefest). I vascillated quite a bit about the cruise, but finally decided to make the reservation, even though many consider it an unwise use of points.

We are consistently borrowing, but within 5 years, 2 of our kids will be college age, so I expect our need for 2 BR villas will decrease.

If CRV comes on board, we will probably get at least 150 there. If not, we will probably look into adding more BWV and either OKW or VWL (although I am leaning toward VWL/OKW instead of CRV. We were not all that jazzed when we wandered through there in November).

Even though I travel for a living I can't justify getting another.
And yes... Although I only have 1, she does get used every year. It should be noted that I have never rented or traded her either.

390. Can't wait to add on more!

Just to give you a feel, 390 points gets us a 2-BR for 10 days or a one bedroom for 12 days in the summer at SSR. We're staying 6 nights over spring break (peak time) in a dedicated 2-BR, which is going to cost us 320 points.

Do I ever have a problem using our points? NEVER!!! I pay attention and bank if I need to. Should we find ourselves in a situation that we have to burn points, I'll look into a cruise or adding another vacation.

Bought our original 200 pt. contract in March of this year. Couldn't resist adding on another 200 points with the recent incentive of $10/pt. discount + 270 developer points + 200 2006 Dec. UY points. Bought (2) 100 pt contracts, so if I find that we are wasting points or burning them up unneccessarily, we can always sell 1 contract... Except something tells me that in reality, we will be adding on more points again down the road!

How many points do you own?? Do you use them all??

For several years we owned 175 - and always lived in banking mode. The flexibility of the program made for interesting point math: We owed 175 pts, spent 200 pts every year -- yet continued to bank points forward. Hmm. (More info: We own other timeshare and often trade in for the exact week, resort and unit size we need. That helps!)

The add-on monster approached us this fall at DL on the last day of our '06 UY and we responded to the cornucopia of incentives with a purchase of 160 pts ... receiving 320 points for immediate use (160 developer, 160 '06 points). We must spend the 320 plus the 81 points we already had banked before next Oct. It may be tough ... but I'm sure we'll find a way ... even if it means trying the Concierge Collection or upgrading to AKV Concierge cloud9: ).

Of course, I think we'll be banking 100% of our '07 points into '08 ... but we'll deal with that later.
