It was 5 degrees this morning. I don't even want to know what the wind chill is!!! This has been a VERY cold January for us here. We may have a heat wave this weekend - might get up to 16 degrees... WOW.

Well - we always say here in Eastern Washington "If you don't like the weather - wait 5 minutes and it will change." Earlier it was snowing like crazy - got 4 or 5 inches. So I came home early from work and now it's RAINING really hard! What a mess...can't wait for April!

Our high today was around 27 faren. with wind chills in the single digits... and they say tomorrow is going to be COLDER! Brrrrr!

This is the coldest winter we have had here in a very long time!

At this time in just nine days... we will be in the air on our way!!!

I have been wondering about the weather too! Key West was 57 on Saturday and 81 yesterday... I just don't know how to plan!!!

This weather is terrible!!! In PA, it's been below freezing for over a week. Alittle snow would make this bearable!!!

I just got in from snowmobiling on our frozen lake (about 9-12 inches thick now). Had fun snowmobiling so now I am done, so it can warm up anytime now...... I need to watch our video from our trip in Oct. It was so beautiful at Castaway when we were there.
Can't wait to go back. I have 12 degrees on my thermometer right now, don't know what wind chill is.

Tomorrow the high is 9°.

I think I'll just stay indoors until my vacation next month!!

I'm feeling kinda silly complaining about a little rain. But I would love to have some snow.I would like it to snow hard on friday and be gone by Monday. Just enough so all the kids and big kids can play for a few hours.

It seems like everyone from the Midwest to the East and Southeast is getting record cold temps, Florida included. Thatmom, I wouldn't worry about March, I'm sure Florida will be back up to normal temps by then.

We in Southern California are enjoying normal temps right now, which means it was around 70 for the high today and it gets in to the 40s at night.

Another wet day in Washington for us also. Thatmom what cruise are you on in March? We are on the 3-22 Eastern Magic. My DH is working in Cheney for the next few weeks and is sitting in a hotel with no power right now!

Schools are closed in Cobb County, Georgia today. The temps were only in the mid-20's overnight when we got a surprise snowshower. The problem was that we had daytime (and overnight!!!) temps in the 60's just a couple days ago, so the pavement was still quite warm. The snow melted upon hitting the surface, but then it froze, creating black ice! That's not something we handle very well here in Metro Atlanta.

It's <b><i>windy</i></b> here... the local news just reported that the airport has recorded gusts up to 43 mph!

Oh, yes, and we're expecting record lows tonight in the single digits!

The thermometer said -4 when I left the house this morning!!! We are about 35 miles west of Boston..... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I dread seeing my heating oil delivery guy (or at least the bill he leaves when he fills our tank !!).....

It is freezing here! Coldest it has been, when I woke up this morning the radio announcer said it was -5° F. The previous poster from Iowa was quoting wind chill temps, still cold, but wind chill means it feels that cold with the combination of wind plus actual temp. This weather is bothering me more since we really didn't have any cold weather until this artic blast. Normally this is old news but not this crazy year. Even the usual warm south USA is freezing!!! I wish I was still on my Christmas cruise! Kathy

It was 7 degrees here in downstate New York (13 miles north of the George Washington Bridge).

This is our 12th consecutive day of freezing temps....I know it is not as bad as those of you out West, but this is the coldest it has been here in years....just think...two weeks ago today I sunning on Deck 10 of the Magic!!!!

Here in South Dakota I drove to work today with an actual air temp of -15. Our expected high is 1 degree above. It's a heat wave!

Good thing I leave TOMORROW for our Magical honeymoon on the Magic. St. Thomas here I come!!!!!! sorry...I'm a leetle excited
