It is a beautiful snowy day here in Columbia South Carolina.

It's nice because we don't get to see it very often. I think it's around 30 but feels like 17 with the wind chill.

I am sitting here in shorts getting ready to head of to school. Its only in the high 60's now. To us its cold, its funny seeing people with heavy jackets walking around when its almost 70 LOL I have lived in the midwest, southeast,northeast and expearienced the winters and i was sick of it so may family and in moved to California. Want to come and join us?

Right now in Lincoln, Nebraska it is -14 with a windchill of -25. Snow on the ground but the sun is out making everything sparkle.It has been a really weird winter. It is to be in the 50's on Monday!

We have 4" of snow on the ground and it is -9 degrees! Its COLD outside in tropical north-central Nebraska! Lynne

They are calling for the lowest temperatures in over 15 years here.
The entire state is wrapping things up - citrus, strawberries, flowers, tomatoes are all in serious danger if we stay cold for too long. The strawberries in Plant City (a short distance from WDW) are just coming in and where we are in SW FL is big tomato & flower growing territory.
I know it's hard to feel any sympathy for us when your temps are so low (I spent a lot of time in Austria where they measured snowfall in feet, not inches!) but remember where your orange juice comes from - at least feel sympathy for the trees!

I am one who is worried about Florida. The crops freeze means the rest of us will pay a huge price for what doesn't freeze! Hopefully this artic blast will go away soon!

For the NE posters, I am originall from Lincoln. -14° ouch, my parents must be freezing! 50's on Monday! here in Iowa we are suppose to be in the 40's. Kathy

Up here in beautiful Wisconsin it as around zero this morning. I don't even want to talk about the wind chill. No snow on the ground at all. Can't wait till July and the heat of the south. Next time we cruise in the Winter !

Very cold in Southern IL. We've had more snow this year than we have in years. Actually had a while Christmas, first I remember since childhood. (very long time)! School is closed today. Icy roads plus flu bug. Of course Sam has the flu. Can't wait for Summer and the Magic!!!

and i thought WE were cold up here in RI......it was 3° and a -1° windchill this morning........and then I see the temps in Iowa...wow!!!! It hasnt been above freezing in a little while...but over the weekend were suppoesed to have a heat wave....35° for hights..YAY!!! I can't wait till spring when i dont have to walk to the bus stop and not feel my legs!

It was 9 degrees when I took my son to school this a.m. We live in the Memphis area. The sun is shining but it's just for show! We are looking forward to 40+ degrees tomorrow and in the 50's next week. Can't wait...right now that sounds like swimsuit weather!
