So How Is Boatwright's??

Breakfast is great. The food is always good. The service can be just ok sometimes, but never bad in our experience.

We had dinner at Boatwrights last year, and we really enjoyed it! Our food was very good, and our server was excellent. We're planning to go again on our trip this year, and I hope we don't have a bad experience like some others here have had.

Breakfast rocks. And I don't even like breakfast.

Totally agree and I don't like breakfast either. We are staying at BWV and will be making a special trip just for the breakfast, on our way to AK.

We ate there in October and it was just ok. I can't even remember what I ate but my husband had ribs and he thought the ones at the Hoopty Doo Review(? is that the name of it?) where way better. I know the kids really liked the huge sundae they got for dessert, but I don't think we'd bother eating there again.

I had the Jambalaya there last month - very good. Dessert - very good as well, though *really* rich. I had the Snickers cheesecake, I think it was.

Service was mediocre, but it was a Saturday evening at about 8, so the place was swamped, including a fair number of annoyed folks without PSs.

I agree with the OP that we seem to hear very little about this place. Ditto for Shutters.

We loved the dinner and breakfast there (banana stuffed french toast  ) The dinner is especially nice when coupled with the boat ride to Downtown Disney that they offer. Seeing the lights as you approach in the boat was beautiful! I guess they are doing horse and carriage rides now also.
