So how do you pronounce the name of these boards anyway??

Do you say dis boards (with a soft s, like are you dissing me?)

Do you say D I S boards (and spell out the letters?)

Or do you say Diz boards (with the sound like the beginning of the word Disney?)


I don't know which one is right? Help

I alway pronounced them as DIZ

I usually say DIZ

One of the other boards I'm on is USCHO ... people can't ever agree if it's "you-show" or "us-ko" or "u-s-chow" (personally, I think it's "you-show")

Someone asked this same thing awhile back and I responded somthing like "Definately DIZ, my DH is always asking me - Hon, are you on the DIZ boards again?". Soon after I got a wonderful visit from the tag fairy and hence, my tag reads as it does

DIZ or "the green people boards".....this comes from going on our first cruise and finding out so much information here. My family was always asking how I found out so much before we went. Then I made a green Mickey head to wear on my lanyard and my family said who are these other "green" friends of yours? Somehow it just stuck and when someone wants to know something about Disney they always call and ask if I can "talk" to my green friends and find out what they need to know.
