So, how busy is Presidents Week???

We were planning on heading down to WDW the week between Christmas and New Years this year but something has come up and I don't think we can go. We are now thinking of going Presidents week (Feb 18 - 25). Do most schools have this week off and how are the crowds? My boyfriends father lives in Orlando so we do not have to worry about hotel, just how busy the park is. We would love to go during a week when school is in session but we reallly want to take my boyfriends son (who is 17 - ahhhhh) and he is off from school at this time. I don't know how many more vacations he will want to take with us but he still loves Disney and as we stay with his grandfather he still likes going with us.

Hi Linda,

President's week is pretty busy, particularly from Saturday (the 18th) through around Wednesday or Thursday (22nd-23rd). Then crowds start to thin out.

Unfortunately any time you go when schools are closed the parks will be crowded. Our kids are 18 and 15 and they still love to go with us to WDW!!!

Its quite crowded, we went one year and the wait for the rides is atleast 1-2 hours wait. If you can I would plan a different time because you really wont get to see much unless you really use fastpass. I don't mean to discourage you, but it was so crowded that we had to all hold hands so we didnt get lost.
