I only have one complaint about these boards...


They suck so you so far into the Disney magic that you are forced to continue to upgrade and extend your stay. Budget, what budget??

Just upgraded to Lagoon View Concierge at the Poly from Garden view. I just couldn't stand not having that great view. I can't wait to enjoy a bottle of wine with my DH while sitting on our patio (knock on wood) overlooking the lagoon. My boys will be blissfully sleeping after a full day of magical fun....

Anywho, does this happen to the rest of you? CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT!!!

It sure does happen to the rest of us. My May 2003 trip was the "once in a lifetime we have to do Disney trip," followed 9 months later by the "can't get back fast enough let's stay at the Swan on the nurses' rate trip," which ended on the last day of that trip buying into DVC because I couldn't stand not staying in an official Disney resort! Including that Feb 2004 trip where I bought DVC, I went a total of 3 times in one year and am looking forward to my 11 night stay in August! Oh the bug bites and it bites HARD!

Oh yes!! Our "Once in a lifetime Disney hotel experience honeymoon" at the Poly last year was going to be the only time that we would push the boat out and stay at a Disney hotel, we have stayed in orlando before but always offsite. After our honeymoon we decided the next time we would go back would be in a couple of years but NOT to a Disney hotel (muchos dineros). However two weeks ago, I find myself on the phone booking 2 weeks in August this year at POR (Poly really was too expensive) and also finding myself paying extra for a water view - why why why? we hardly spend any time in the room! Oh well, here's to the holidays - hurrah!!!!
