Here in the D.C. area, the weather has been BEAUTIFUL since Friday. Sunny and highs in the 70s and 80s. It was about 84 yesterday.
Well, last night I went to bed and on my upper level it was 79 degrees. I figured, well, it will cool off in a few hours. Nope, didn't cool off. As a result, I tossed and turned and SWEATED all night. Didn't get much sleep at all.
I should have turned the A/C on but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It's mid-March for cryin' out loud. Why do I always feel that I go from heat to A/C with no pleasant stops in between?
For some reason, even with all the windows open, I never get a cool breeze on my upper floor. My mid-level (kitchen and family room) felt wonderful. I should have slept on the couch. Grrrrrrr....
