DH and I did last night. I would have done it earlier but there was a problem with DH's W2 from his employer. Turned out fine, we just had to wait until it was fixed.

Just curious as to how others are doing!

I just picked mine up this morning and sent them in!! Dont know why I was so late this year, but I am happy with the amount.

I'm done!!! I stopped doing them myself when I started 3 different businesses. And,I picked up a new client---my accountant! I'll start training her 2 dogs next week!

I filed our Federal a while ago. Since we typically get a refund on the Fed and owe the State, I always file the Fed and wait to file the State until after the refund arrives. I'll wait to mail in the State until April 10th or so and the same with the City return.

As soon as we receive the forms back from the "tax man" we will file the Fed form (we are getting a refund). We will file the State form on or near the 15th.

Oh yes. Our refund has been spent on tuition and replacing a dead heat pump.

Nope. We owe mucho dinero this year. Waiting as long as possible.

Filed, refund back, painted the inside of the house, tore up the carpets and layed laminate.

They're done, but I owe a bit. So I'm waiting until the last minute. I'll probably mail them next Monday or so.

We've filed, recieved a refund, and then received a corrected 1099 (at the begining of March) so we've ammended, refiled and gotten a 2nd refund already.

I filed my federal taxes a while ago online via H&R Block. They also had a nifty electronic payment process so I didn’t have to mail a paper check. I filled out the forms for my state return several months ago, but I just got around to mailing the actual payment and forms yesterday (they don’t do e-filing for some reason—or at least I couldn’t get it to go through). If I had been entitled to a refund instead of owing, then I would’ve filed much faster. LOL! :teeth:

I'm finishing them up tonight...had to wait to obtain all histories of prescriptions from 2 pharmacies and couldn't get DH's because of the HIPA laws, could only get the kids and mine...but our medical expenses are really high, so I needed to take these deductions.

I wonder how long it will take to get them back filing so late?

We e-filed, but have't sent in our payment yet.

Ours is still in the hands of the CPA. I guess I gotta check on it. April 15th will be here before we know it. :rolleyes2

Just so you all know, the deadline this year is April 17 since the 15th is a Saturday. Two extra days for procrastinators or those that owe and want to wait to pay! :goodvibes

We filed weeks ago and the government cashed that check in record time.

What no procrastinators???? :confused3 I can't be the only one, can I?

I always file an extension in April and again in August, since filing day is right in the middle of our summer vacation. I don't actually do our taxes until October, then I stash the money for Christmas and our Christmas break vacation.

I can't believe it is just me, I am going to go hang my head somewhere.....Surely there are more procrastinators out there so that I can justify my actions........ :teeth:
