I've been trying for over a month to piece together a week in two studios around Christmas. Today I was finally able to reserve the last night I needed! I had waitlisted different segments, and none of them came through even though the rooms were available (or I wouldn't have been able to book them online!).
I'm happy we have the waitlist option, and I guess it's okay if you've already got reservations at a different resort and don't care if it comes through or not. However, if you're going to be sleeping in the parking lot if you don't get a room -- you better keep checking the website continuously throughout the day to check for new availability!
