We arrived Saturday late afternoon to gorgeous weather and moderate crowds.
1. FP+ rocks on arrival day. We had fastpasses for RNRC, TOT, and star tours. Also went on RNRC single rider with little wait.
2. No issues with magic bands so far - love the convenience
3. MDE works fine so far in peak crowds though dining is clumsy and slow
4. Rope drop, rope drop, rope drop - knock out any attractions u don't have fastpass for. Get there a bit early. - minutes can count.
5. Food at the flower and garden booths is fantastic and reasonably priced. Favorites include: lamb brewat roll, duck confit, spring onion pancake with chicken, apple and sausage roll, watermelon and feta salad, shrimp and grits, dole whip with coconut rum, ghost pepper tilapia
6. Able to do a walk up for noon at Brown Derby today - tip: get two appetizers instead of an entree
7. Stay positive about the weather - overcast but much better than predicted.
I've been most concerned about MK in peak crowds. Will report back.
P.S. those of u who read some of my prior posts-still crossing my fingers for da to be able to march with his broken toe. Also he and his friends really enjoyed their splurge meal at coral Reef.
