I am just sitting here at work reading all the great post's about DCL.
I can't stop thinking about our first DCL cruise in less then 10 days. I get so full of emotion I just want to cry for joy.
So does this ever happen to anyone else?

when our trip finally arrives i do tend to get very emotional, especially when we first enter the lobby of check in at the ship. the worst though is leaving on the disney bus and watching the magic fade into the distance behind us., then i'm very emotional.

We took our very first cruise ever last August 2003 and i will never forget what i felt when, sitting in that shuttle bus,
i saw that beautiful cruise ship for the first time !!!!

What an incredible feeling, a mix of happiness, joy , releif , excitment...

I really beleive that you have to experence it to fully understand it.

And unfortunately the feeling is almost as strong but the other way, when the cruise is over
That is when you start preparing for the next one ......

I get pretty emotional and our first ever cruise is still 50 something days away!!

I was re-reading some of the information last night & I got so excited I didn't think I was going to be able to stand it.

So, to help pass the time, I went shopping yesterday and bought cruise clothes!!!

How do others pass the time??

I cry watching the DCL video, walking down Main Street at Magic Kingdom, at first sight of the ship and again walking into the lobby. I can barely look happy while taking that embarkation photo but there all tears of joy....

I have to watch myself or I get so excited I can't sleep.

I hope you love your cruise. Our first cruise, last yr, was so great...we loved every minute of it. I remember seeing the banner that says something like " We'll see you again soon." on our last morning and I literally had to fight back tears. We rebooked while onboard and I've been counting down ever since. I am so excited!!

Family of 4 going on the Magic in August. I'm supposed to be the mature dad - but my kids (12 and 16) say I'm obsessed. I bought the books, printed out pages from different web-sites - and yup - I admit - I am obsessed. Maybe it's a mid-life crisis and I'm trying to regain my youth. Anyway -I ca't wait (oops - I better log-out - I'm at work now too).

Talk about so excited, we leave tonight and sail tomorrow, I can't wait to get in warmer places. Believe it or not, but it is cold in Florida today! I hope tomorrow is warmer. Bon Voyage!!

I am --- years old, and I get emotional just thinking of Disney. We, my husband and I, celebrated our 25th anniversay on the Disney Magic last March. I just can't even think about going on another cruise line. We have booked for March 2005, yeah!! When we came over that last bridge and saw the Magic in dock ahead of us, I cried! When we walked on board, I had tears in my eyes! It was the most wonderful vacation I have been on and you are going to love it. I pray your trip is special and filled with alot of pixie dust.

TAKE LOTS OF PIX TO REMEMBER THE LOOKS ON YOUR FAMILY FACES LIKE WHEN THEY SEE THE SHIP FOR THE FIRST TIME OR WHEN THEY DANCE WITH GOOFY NEAR THE POOL! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!!
