frustrations on my formal dress

I was wondering if any one has had trouble with ordering a fromal dress? I've had to reorder my dress two times, the store ower is just as frustred as I'm. I'ts a good thing i still have ten months until the cruise but it's freaking me out.

Sorry you're having trouble. I've never ordered a formal dress. The last one I got at our local Salvation Army store. With the senior discout it only cost me $10!

The one before, I purchase off the rack at JC Penneys. I used it as my formal dress for 4 cruises before getting the new one.

It's not that i don't have a formal dress it's just that i wanted somthing new for this cruise. my last cruise i wore a dress that was five years old

We don't know what your problem is. Is the dress not arriving after ordering? Does a dress show up but it doesn't fit?

I'm with the above--I shop the sale racks after New Year's Day and find great buys on formals and cocktail dresses. Your dress for formal night is not worth sweating over. The point is to enjoy the cruise, not to agonize over it.

What company are you ordering from...are your ordering online?.....I could never order a formal dress online if that is the case...I need to try on and see what fits best.

In a few weeks will be a great time to buy a formal dress.....as mentioned right after the holidays they go on sale.

yes you are right about the dress. I did try on the dress before ordering it. I frusting thing is the dress is paid for.

If the dress has not been altered, you should be able to get your money back and start over!

No I didn't order online. I ordered from a local store. This store has a good recourd>it's the manfacuter that's holding us up. We have another dress ordered so i guess She's had trouble with this manfacter before. I think I'm going to go with the seound dress it's alot more formal than the first and it's only $20.00 more. I know that i shouldn't stress out but i want to look nice and i love to dress up. i don't get to dress up verry much.

First of all my formal dress has yeat to show up I know that i should not stress out about it I's a little disapornting because I would like to have a new dress for the cruise. My last cruise i wore an old dress and yes the old dress was still very nice. I have nearly $100.00 tied up in the dress. I have all the accerssoies for the dress. I called the dress shop today and the owner wasn't there and it was two in the afternoon. To some people a hundered dollars might not be a lot but to me it is and desides i think when some one orders something then the sale people should do everything they can get what is ordered. I ordered this dress back in july. I know that wedding gowns can take six months to get to the store. I tell myself that it's not the store onwer but the manfactor and i know that she will do everything sh can to get the dress in and after all i have ten months to go. Thanks for reading this.

I'm so excited i will be picking up my formal dress that has taken nearly four months to get,in the morning and I finally got the waltograph installed in my fonts. I should have some great looking magents for my Have a great hoilday season.

I get to pick it up in morning. Thanks for the good thoughts I'm looking foward to wearring it on formal night. I will be wearring it for a test run when i get to see Beauty and the beast the musical in Febuary. Thanks again for letting me voice my frustrations. Merry Chirstmas
