I love DVC planning!

It's almost time to book Dec. 2011 and I've already started planning 2012!

wooo hoooo! DVC! :yay:

I know the feeling.

The only problem is the wait until you actually get to make good on those plans. Already have 2011 trips booked for BLT and Aulani. I'm about 6 weeks away from my 7 month window opening up at Grand California.....can't wait to check out DL for the first time in about 20 years.

Isn't planning a DVC trip fun? We have two substantial trips in 2011. We have already started figuring out our 2012 trips!

So what resorts and dates are everyone planning? Do you fly or drive to WDW? There isn't any more planning I can do for my trips yet so I have to live vicariously through others!

We are going to BLT/VWL the first week of December 2011. This will be our first vacation of any length with the Christmas decorations out and we may try to slip in a 3 day trip on the Dream!

If you can't tell from all my tickers:

We are going to VGC four nights staying in a 1 BR with a DIS friend for her first trip to DLR (former WDW CM). It will be nice we've never stayed that long since we only live less than a 1/2 an hour away, but taking a newbie will make it a lot of fun! We definitely drive since we live closer than any airport!

We are going to WDW October 27-November 3. Right now we're booked at SSR, but I hope to add on at BCV and VWL in the next month and switch to a split stay at those two resorts, we're also doing 2 nights at Universal for FOTL at HP before we get to WDW. Of course we fly there!

We have two small trips to VGC, one the first weekend in October and the other overnight on a Saturday night in the month of November, the night before our Community Concert Band performs out there.

We are going to be at BCV from 5/5-5/14 2011, this will be our first trip home as DVC members...we are very excited about it too :cool1: In February we can book our 11 months at our home resort of BLT for our January trip in 2012 (not sure what dates as of yet) for my DH's birthday trip. We are hoping for a studio MK view, but my DH has been on ME looking into other resorts and he is wanting to plan out that trip so who knows where he wants to be staying.

It looks like a lot of us will be in WDW in early December 2011! Only a few more days until we can book! :))

Our tentative dates after that are Oct 2012. My parents will be coming with us and they LOVE the food and wine festival so I said that month sounds fine. We are debating though if we'd rather go early in the month when it's not as crowded and the weather is great for swimming or later in the month for our 15th anniversary and halloween!

Most likely Oct. 28-Nov. 1 2012!

We fly down. Luckily since we fly out of Philly there's always tons of cheap direct flights to MCO.

In the immediate future...hubby and I are going to SSR on January 22! It's his 34th birthday and it's going to be just the two of us! Cross your fingers we get the downtown disney view we requested! :cool1:

August 2011...we booked a free dining package at POR  not dvc..but that's ok..our plans are to pig out!!! :goodvibes

Oh how nice! I LONG to someday stay at VGC! We have friends in LA and are hoping to get out there within the next few years and take all of our kids to Diseyland! I was born in CA and my parents took me to Disneyland when I was 2 weeks old! I'm ready to make another visit! :thumbsup2

If you decide to stay at your home resort I think you're gonna LOVE it. I think BLT is FANTASTIC!! Your BVC trip sounds great! Welcome Home! I love WDW in May! :)

December 2011 will our first christmas visit too..we are going just to see the decorations! To follow it up with the Dream is AWESOME!:santa:

I agree about DVC! It's hard not to be in continual planning mode! ;) I can't believe we have 3 Disney trips planned for 2011 - Disney Studios and Archives tour in February (staying at Paradise Pier), WDW in April with our DS, DDiL, and DGS (staying at BLT), and D23 Expo in Anaheim in August. Super excited!! :yay:

December 2010 was our first trip to WDW at Christmas time. It IS awesome. If you enjoy Christmas music, then you owe it to yourself to see the Candlelight Processional. It was truly amazing to see that huge choir, the awesome orchestra, and our narrorator (Corbin Bernson).

You do have to wait in line a bit (if you aren't going to get the dinner package), but we were only in line for about 45 minutes and we were in COMFORTABLY for the 5:00 showing.

I am getting excited for my March trip. Going from March 24 to March 28. I am also waiting to book my Xmas trip for next year. I spoke to son and he wants to leave on Xmas in the afternoon. So we are hoping to get BLT from 12/25 to 12/29 and then its onto the Dream from 12/29 to 1/3.

SSWendy,

When are you going on the Dream?

Haha in my dreams Harlemgirl!

Nothing booked as of yet..still dreaming of the day I set sail! We've discussed renewing our vowels on castaway cay someday. I'm thinking I'll wait till Leah turns 5 Thanksgiving week 2014.. in fact after just looking at the calendar Leah and Darren's birthdays are both Thanksgiving week 2014! That would be an awesome birthday gift for them! Now the tough choice...western caribbean or bahamas with two stops at Castaway Cay?!

We love Christmas music and CP is on my must do list. We are going to be bringing my MIL and BIL. I think she will LOVE it! I'm pretty sure I'll do the dinner package. I've watched videos of it on youtube and I can't wait to see it in person!

I'll be at WDW March 23 - 30! I can't wait!

Hopefully we're also going to be there the 1st week of December.

I think after we all call MS next week we should post our December 2011 dates and maybe start pre planning a dis meet!
