So what resorts and dates are everyone planning? Do you fly or drive to WDW? There isn't any more planning I can do for my trips yet so I have to live vicariously through others!
If you can't tell from all my tickers:
We are going to VGC four nights staying in a 1 BR with a DIS friend for her first trip to DLR (former WDW CM). It will be nice we've never stayed that long since we only live less than a 1/2 an hour away, but taking a newbie will make it a lot of fun! We definitely drive since we live closer than any airport!
We are going to WDW October 27-November 3. Right now we're booked at SSR, but I hope to add on at BCV and VWL in the next month and switch to a split stay at those two resorts, we're also doing 2 nights at Universal for FOTL at HP before we get to WDW. Of course we fly there!
We have two small trips to VGC, one the first weekend in October and the other overnight on a Saturday night in the month of November, the night before our Community Concert Band performs out there.
We are going to be at BCV from 5/5-5/14 2011, this will be our first trip home as DVC members...we are very excited about it tooIn February we can book our 11 months at our home resort of BLT for our January trip in 2012 (not sure what dates as of yet) for my DH's birthday trip. We are hoping for a studio MK view, but my DH has been on ME looking into other resorts and he is wanting to plan out that trip so who knows where he wants to be staying.
We are going to BLT/VWL the first week of December 2011. This will be our first vacation of any length with the Christmas decorations out and we may try to slip in a 3 day trip on the Dream!
December 2011 will our first christmas visit too..we are going just to see the decorations! To follow it up with the Dream is AWESOME!![]()
December 2010 was our first trip to WDW at Christmas time. It IS awesome. If you enjoy Christmas music, then you owe it to yourself to see the Candlelight Processional. It was truly amazing to see that huge choir, the awesome orchestra, and our narrorator (Corbin Bernson).
You do have to wait in line a bit (if you aren't going to get the dinner package), but we were only in line for about 45 minutes and we were in COMFORTABLY for the 5:00 showing.
I am getting excited for my March trip. Going from March 24 to March 28. I am also waiting to book my Xmas trip for next year. I spoke to son and he wants to leave on Xmas in the afternoon. So we are hoping to get BLT from 12/25 to 12/29 and then its onto the Dream from 12/29 to 1/3.
SSWendy,
When are you going on the Dream?
